Useful planner format but inconsistent quality from Moleskine
I find this format to be particularly useful as a pocket planner. I've used it for some time. The main pages provide a weekly appointment calendar in a horizontal layout with some additional space on the page for to-do, contact info and notes. The week number is also provided along with a mini-calendar of the present month with the current week in bold. Just right to record my agenda, expenses, location, mileages, etc. This year, there are some additional 'to do' pages at then end of the diary which I will probably use as project headlines.Unfortunately, the planner I received this year seems to have some inconsistencies in quality. The book seems to have been trimmed too tightly; it is 4.5mm narrower than the previous books I have. This means that the blocking of the main pages looks a little off with the print too close to the edge. Where it really notices however is in the monthly pages where the space for days near the edge of the leaf is appreciably reduced. The printing is also noticeably lighter than before though this might be more to others tastes.Overall, a good planner format and I'm sure I'll quickly get used to it but I wonder why Moleskine hasn't maintained the quality I'd come to expect.
