Nice finish, works as it should
This is for either product ED-UB-IN54-12C or ED-UB-IN54-10C, depending on whether you believe the included literature or the EasyDIY website. Well constructed, and one of the better outfitted USB panels for a half-height 5.25" bay. If you don't have a USB 3.2 Gen 2 header, this is the one to add to get: 3 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (aka USB 3.0) Type-A ports, a Type-C port, and a pair of QC3.0 fast charging ports on the front of your machine. Black brushed aluminum (yeah, real metal and not plastic) finish that blends in nicely with a black metal case and other 5.25 bay hardware. Only real concern is that there are typographic errors galore on the instructions, even the printed title of the instructions says "Internal 5.25" fornt panel"For those confused, this fits into a standard half-height 5.25" bay. These are usually found on the front of computers, and would typically house a optical disk drive. They measure 1 5⁄8 inches (41 mm) high by 5 3⁄4 inches (150 mm) wide.As a bonus, there is room to mount two 2.5" SSD drives in the bay (see photos: WD Blue on the bottom, Vertex on the top). You can only put one screw into each drive to anchor it, but it should be fine as these drives are so light and durable, that unless your desktop computer spends it's life being transported they'll be fine.

Great solution for data/charging and space issues!
Used this for an HTPC build where I had little internal space for a disc drive. Great USB expansion and the quick charge ports are damn handy. The USB-C port is basic usb charge only but as it connectd to PC for data as well that can be forgiven considering the QC ports. Absolutely recommend getting these while they're in stock. Double check your motherboard ports as mine gave me bad info about having the newer and smaller 3.1 connection when it had 2 3.0 ports.

I was well built, but not compatible with all motherboards.
Well made. Looks good. Appears to be exactly as described. However it is not for all motherboards. My MSI motherboard did not have the special port required for the hub to function.

Works well
Just plugged it into my motherboard's USB 3.0 header and all ports worked without issue. Installed easily to 5.25" opening in case

Nice metal plate not overly complicated, Does what it is supposed to do
The build quality is nice. The black metal matches the case nicely. You will need a spare sata power cable from your psu or a molex to sata adapter to provide power. Unlike some media bays inserts this one has only two cables one for the usb 3.0 header on your mobo and one sata to provide power. I would recommend adjusting the plate before tightening it.

It just didn’t work
Everything went well until I plugged the USB-C cable to the motherboard. This unit just doesn’t work. Plugged another unit and worked well. Tried everything possible in settings, bios, etc and nothing. It does charge though.

Did not fit into my machine so why it got 3 stars
I am sure it would have been fine if it fit, they accepted return so that was great of them.

Works as Advertised
I have bought multiple quantities of this for work and home. Works advertised. Gives you extra USB 3.0, Type-C and fast charging ports on the front of your PC
