Had to carve out the pre-existing cig lighter hole with a half-round file and a fatty step drill bit, but in the end it fits snug as a bug. Charges my phone in "Super Fast Charging" mode, at least thats what the screen of my phone says, Other reviews said it draws current even when it's switched off, so I wired it onto a switched circuit, so it only turns on with my Astro van.If it craps out, I'll amend my review. So far seems good.

They do the job and they're pretty accurate, but come nighttime boy are they bright. That cover for dust and moisture is quite necessary, if just to dim the voltage display, I wasn't planning on using The dust cover with my installation but soon changed my mind. Would be nice if the button could dim it first and shut it off second.

Used these power outlets on a solar generator box project. It installed easy and seems durable.

I chose this volt meter/charger to replace the cigarette lighter in my Yamaha golf cart.After removing the old lighter (which left two visible screw holes), I found that the new charger was a tiny bit larger than the hole. A few seconds with a round file took care of it, and the installation was very easy after that.Heres what I like: There are two regular old USB ports AND a USB-C port for charging devices...more than I will ever need, but it's good to have both. I now have a second voltage meter to check my battery if I need it. I note that the new meter is reading about 0.5v higher than the vehicle meter. I really like the one/off switch. This outlet is not tied to the main vehicle switch, rather it is wired directly so it has power to it all of the time whether the vehicle is running or not. The on/off switch turns off the meter and all of the power ports so there will be no drain on the battery when it is not in use.Here's what I don't like: The port cover is not rigid but rubbery. So, a moderate press on the cover when it is closed can activate the power button. I would rather this were a rigid cover so an inadvertent bump with a knee could not turn this meter on and potentially drain the battery. Is that likely? I don't know, but I don't want to find out by having a dead battery.Note: in the photo of the meter with the cover closed you will see that the "voltmeter" text is upside down. This was my choice. The cover can only be mounted as you see it in the photo, or 180 degrees from this position because there are protrusions on the inside of the cover than line up with the two regular USB ports. I chose to mount it the way I did so the cover will hang downward away from the charger when open allowing me to see where to plug in a device. If it is reversed, it hangs flops right back down in front of the charger...in the way and making it hard to see what you're doing. This is not an issue for me...just thought it was worth noting.This device does what I need it to do, and I recommend you give it a try.

I got this to replace an existing outlet I had installed in my car that did not have USB-C.ProsQuick and easy install.Each outlet is protected by fuses (included).I used the previous wiring from my old outlet that piggy backed off the existing 12V outlet in the car.The outlet has a bright blue volt meter, 2 USB-A QC ports, and 1 USB-C PD port.The on/off switch is convenient to turn off the outlet when not in use.The outlets have a protective cover if you feel the need to use it. You can remove it before you install the outlet.ConsNone so farOverall, I'm loving it. It charges my Pixel 6a rapidly and other mobile devices.

The main thing is the diameter is larger than a normal cigarette lighter so dash hole has to be enlarged which is a pain. The cap seems a little loose and not sure if really watertight. However, is is a cool product.
