I gave 5 stars because the Pros, definitely out weigh the cons.I purchased these for my X-Maxx. They are paired with the GPM Hardened Steel 51t/20t Center Diff ring & output drive.Diff fluid setup:50k rear/ 20m center/ 50k front.Your setup will vary from my setup depending on your needs.This setup suits my needs perfectly though.I'm running a Hobbywing Ezrun Max6 and Hobbywing 5687 1100kv G1 motor combo. Spur is 35t mod 1.5. Pinion is 24t mod 1.5.Car goes 64mph on Asphalt. 60mph on Grass.Tracked using SkyRc GnSS. Over a course of 10 runs on full batteries (Zeee 9000mah 100c), on each surface.---------------Do not buy the combo pack, front and rear.Don't buy if you need them right away either.I'll save you the headache and being on the phone with customer service for a very long time, after only receiving the front ring and pinion gear.This was after waiting 2wks for the package to come.You can not return this item. So, after some time on the phone with customer service. I finally got refunded for the missing rear ring and pinion.Then I had to wait another 2weeks for the rear ring and pinion to come in before I could get started on my buildCons:Shipping takes forever, because they come from China.Order one set at a time.No Ring & Pinion tooth count (42t Ring gear. 13t Pinion gear) in description.Pros:Easy installation. It's pretty straight forward, no directions neededPrecisely machinedGreat quality SteelDefinitely hardened NOT paintedVery very durableWill not strip. (Do NOT pull off big jumps and land under throttle. Let off throttle right before you land the jump. You run the risk of stripping any gear if you keep the throttle wide open when landing, cheap or expensive)Price is great compared to name brands
