Not just a water bottle holder...
This pouch, although advertised as a water bottle pouch, can do so much more. So far, I've tried using it to hold a tourniquet, pressure-bandage, water-purifying device, and my phone in its Otter Box case. It easily accommodates all of these items, and I would be totally comfortable running with my phone oin this pouch.Unlike my older MOLLE water bottle pouch, which had non-stretch webbing that had to be adjusted like a pants belt, this model, with its elastic webbing, and easy...and quick to adjust...stretchy cord retainers, can be easily configured to fit almost anything...except...a 32oz Nalgene water bottle...I suppose this style of water bottle is somewhat old school, but it was funny that the one thing this pouch had a hard time doing was being able to accommodate my cylindrical 32oz Nalgene bottle. It could do it, but you really had to wrestle it in and wrestle it back out.Aside from the fact that this pouch much prefers svelter water bottles, it's so flexible otherwise, I can't bring myself to ding it for that. I'll just use my old...just larger enough...bottle pouch for my Nalgene bottle, and use this pouch for everything else.A full 5 stars

Holy snaps
These snaps are strong! Probably the best I've gotten for a MOLLE water bottle pouch.Since the drawstrings are throughout the pouch, it makes the constriction more even than just a drawstring gripping the top, and yields in a more evenly compact shape when you don't have a bottle in it. My old water bottle pouches are just floppy and kinda open, empty or not, so I'm thankful for this design.Another nice thing about the drawstrings is particularly the top one for the buckle. It's there to let you pull the buckle, yeah, but it can also be looped over the bottle so as to keep it down. Once it's buckled down, that bottle is tightly packed, so I have no worries about losing my bottle anymore.I think I would have preferred more MOLLE loops instead of velcro on the outside, but that's just me.

Does not fit wide mouth bottles, but anything that fits in your car's cup holder will fit just fine
The classic nalgene bottle is too wide for this holder. However, thinner options that still hold 32 oz of liquid will fit just fine. A heavy stainless steel bottle filled with water did not cause the molle straps to sag or strain against the pack. The bungee cords help with keeping the shape of the bottle holder uniform to the bottle itself. Nice little piece of kit!

Great bottle carrier. Very adjustable
The carrier is a nice dark black and not a medium grey which seems to be common. The elastic is very stretchable and goes back to the original length very quickly once the bottle is removed. It’s easy to adjust the diameter of the pouch to fit many liter size bottles but the very fat round ones will not fit. This fits a taller bottle fine and adjusts quickly with the bungie cords. On the top to hold it in is another clasp and more elastic. The molle straps fit standard molle webbing fine and the snaps are secure. It does have a spot on the front for a patch but none was included. Fortunately I have many to put in its place.

Well-made and useful
Well-made. All of the stitching is good and the snaps and buckle work. The design is perfect. A 500 ml bottle fits easily and then the top buckles down, leaving less than a half inch of the bottle top above this piece. In other words, you don't have a lot of the bottle hanging out to be bumped and possibly punctured or knocked out. This might even be able to take a full 1 ml bottle, since there is plenty of slack in all of the webbing material, I just don't have one on hand to test.

Works great
The molle attached easily. Tension adjusts with little effort but holds a refillable 24 oz metal water bottle firmly.
