Squishy toys were all the rage a couple of years back but recently, at least in the school's around here, the heat has cooled off. There were too many of them and the quality was not great. However, there is still room for someone to collect a squishy is they like and fans of the anime style are going to like the range from Anboor.We have the 'Bunny Food' squishy. This is not some lettuce or pellets, but a cute little bunny asleep on some toast using a fried egg as a blanket. It looks great and is very squishy. I have no idea why the rabbit is so small or think using a greasy egg to sleep under is a clever idea, but it captures that cute and anarchic style. The children love this toy, and the quality is good. I do think that like all squishy toys it is a gimmick and does not have that much real purpose, but as a fun gift to a manga fan.

Squishy good. I like squishy things. I mean who doesn’t right? I’m fully aware some people don’t, and that’s ok… I however am I big fan of squishy things and this is most definitely a squishy thing, so therefore I am a fan of this. That is all.Also the design is awesome. Why make a squishy thing and not make it cute? That’s what I always say…. So they made it cute…Basically what I’m trying to say is, I have zero negative things to say about this. So I’ll try and actually fill this review with stuff that is legit, so here goes: It doesn’t have that weird smell that some squishy things do, which is great. It doesn’t crack or peel, also great. It’s a nice squishy feeling, it’s not too hard or soft, just right…. And it doesn’t have any hard bits / plugs or seams that get in the way, so all in all, a perfect squishy companion to add to your collection.Would I recommend this cute Bao Bun squishy? I would indeed.Do I have anything else to add to this review? Nope, nothing at all, apart from the answer to the question, it’s a solid / squishy 10/10 for me!

Although there is no earthly reason I need a squishy toy, I simply could not resist the adorable design of this “Bunny Toast” version which features a round rabbit fast asleep on a bed of thick toast, using a fried egg as a blanket. It’s much bigger than I expected at around 7.5 x 9cm and it is satisfyingly squishy. It can be compacted into a fist-sized ball, and it is fascinating to watch the slow rebound process as every tiny wrinkle disappears and eventually it looks good as new. I didn’t see this mentioned in the Amazon product listing, but it also smells quite distinctly of cake, which makes for a pleasant change from all the plastic products which just about knock you out with their fumes upon opening. This comes in a variety of kawaii-type designs combining animals with food, and I’m sure one could easily be tempted into collecting them (though do be aware there is no special packaging). I do think the current price of £9.99 seems a bit higher than I would have expected, but this is clearly better quality than most squishy toys I have seen.

I can't deny that this cute and super soft little squishy looks great. It has a good squishy feel with a nice slow rise and the overall design is very kawaii. The problem is that little bits of the paint/colouring was already coming off in places when it arrived. Now every time it's squished, a little more cracks or flakes off:( It's a shame as my daughter really loves the design. We've had another squishy from the same brand that was much better quality so perhaps we were just unlucky with this one.

This is a fun squishy with a cute design of a cat in a puff so a kind of bakery theme for this range. The squishy is definitely slow rising which is good and makes for a great sensory item too. I will say that I’m not sure how long the print will stay on the squishy as the odd area appears to have rubbed or flaked away. It has been used quite a bit since arriving though.Overall it works well, has a fun design and my daughter loves it. I’m sure it will get used quite a bit. The Kawaii design is so cute too! The price at time of the review is comparable to some squishy’s but I do think it is in the higher price range.
