Great paddle
This is a really nice pickleball paddle. My son likes it because he uses a two handed backhand

90٪ amazing
Everything is great. Except a lot of the sweet spot has designs on it that fill in the raw carbon fiber. It still works pretty well, but the bite is inconsistent. Still not returning it, but maybe next time don't slick up the face with screenprint.

Easy to use
The paddle is light weight and feels good in my hand. Like the extended face and the quality of the overall paddle

Well designed for intermediate and up players
I just finished playing my first games with this VERSIX RAW 6C+ paddle, and I'm very pleased with how it performed. It's a new paddle produced for Pickleball Central, which is a huge on-line pickleball site, and it seems to be their current top-of-the-line in house paddle and falls around that $100 sweet spot like many other excellent paddles available and one would expect that PC designed it well. It comes with a 1-year warranty from Pickleball Central. It's lightweight at 8 oz with a 15mm core in an elongated shape with a long 5.75" handle, good for two-handed backhand shots. The face has a plenty gritty raw T700 Toray carbon fiber finish making it hard not to put spin on the ball. After playing a bit, I added some weights to the throat for more stability and felt it played even better (or maybe I was just more warmed up?). I have other paddles to choose from, but for now I'll be using this VERSIX RAW 6C+ paddle.

Oh my goodness...or the goodness of Versix Raw!!
At just over $100, this price point comes in on par with the best of name brands intermediate level paddles.Who makes a 15mm thickness option? How often can you find a raw carbon fiber face near $100?This quality of CF is substantial as well, with a prominent grip. All this makes sense to upper level players...if it doesn't for you, it might be worth some time studying the research, or simply buy paddles in the $50 and under range, and be happy that you're enjoying the increasingly-popular game of pickleball. If you're hoping to increase your quality of play, every time you play...?Do the math, try this paddle, and elevate about every level of your game.Additionally, this is an awesome looking ninja-like paddle!

My son's new favorite paddle
I'll give two different reviewws here-one from me and one from my son. The overall 4 stars represent the average between our two reviews. On my end, there were things that I both liked and disliked about the paddle that led to an overall 3 star review. The pros were that the paddle was incredibly lightweignt. For such an elongated paddle that stood slightly taller than the Joola Hyperion that I'm used to and about the length of the new Perseus, I'm surprised at how nimble it is. The handle is by far the longest I've held and comfortably fits a two handed backhand (which I don't use). There is sufficient grit on the carbon fiber face that gives a good amount of topspin, although not as much as the Hyperion or even the Holbrook Pro that I've used. The con, about the paddle is that when the paddle hits the ball, it almost sounds like it's hitting balsa wood. It's a very sharp pop and not a whole lot of power behind it. I know it's got a honeycomb interior because you can actually see the imprint underneath the facing. For my purposes it just doesn't dampen the errantly hit ball enough and you can feel that ball all the way up your arms when it's hit off the sweet spot.As for my son-he loves this paddle and gives it a 5 star rating. At 17 and a fairly good player rated somewhere around a conservative 4.5 he doesn't really need help with extra power from the paddle since he generates a pretty good amount all on his own. I asked him recently what he thought about the paddle and he told me that there's not quite as much power behind the hits than some other paddles he's used. But he believes that there is a lot of control using this very elongated paddle. It might be because he's such a strong kid with strong wrists and arms but hitting off center doesn't bother him quite as much as it does for me. He has access to CRBN's, Joolas, and other name brand paddles but he really likes this one.I've never heard of this brand although the bottom of the handle says "Pickleball Central" which makes me think that it's a third party maker with PBC's logo on it that they are selling. While I don't think it's quite worth the $109 price tag, I can say that I've seen lesser quality paddles for higher prices. Everyone has a different preference in paddles and my son loves this one while I'm simply ok with it. Given that, it's a solid 4 stars overall.

Carbon Fiber Raw Pickleball Paddle
Product Packaging: Retail packagingProduct Experience: made of carbon fiber and plastic. The face is black raw carbon grit and the grip is a bit extended with a padded grip. This has really good power and control by the net. Long distance hitting is not as strong if not in the sweet spot, but allows other strategic serving play. The price is comparable and is a good value given certification and raw grit.Pro: ProductCon: noneOverall: Recommended
