Warm toes
Used these while working in a refrigerated plant. So the floors are cold-soaked. Used on medium heat for 5 hours and recharged during lunch. I didn't recharge one day, but they lasted most of the 10 hour shift. Just heats from the instep to the toes, but kept my whole foot warm. Inadvertently turned on onto high when not in a cold environment. Just about toasted my toes! Wish I had these when I used to ride motorcycles in the winter.

They're ok
They get very warm but they are too thick to use in a ski boot.

Game changer for skiing!
I bought these because I love to ski but can’t tolerate frozen toes! I bought these for most recent trip to Heavenly and they were a game changer!!! For some reason my intolerance to cold weather seems to have gone up this year. We went for a short ski trip before our big trip and I was unable to stay out for much more than an hour due to freezing toes and hands. I decided to try heated socks and boy am I glad I did!! The lingo I was out on any one day was 5 hours (not because I was cold, but because I was tired) and the socks lasted the entire time. I only used the lowest setting as anything higher was actually too warm! I bought 2 pairs of these - 1 medium and 1 large. This review is for size MEDIUM. I wear a women’s size 10 shoe and I was able to use these, but if I ordered again I would buy the small for myself. I am very fussy when it comes to socks - I can’t stand to feel the seams or to have socks bunch up. Even though these were a little bit big, they were comfortable in my ski boots. The battery pack is just above the ski boot and I didn’t notice the heating element or seams. I hand washed them even though it says you can wash on gentle. They are too precious to me to risk ruining in the wash! Overall, I can recommend these without hesitation! If you suffer from cold feet, consider these socks. My husband decided against heated socks, but if he wanted them, he probably would have fit the medium perfectly (he wears size 10.5). If you haven’t already, I strongly urge you to look for heated gloves as well! I didn’t buy gloves before the start of our trip, but had Amazon deliver some 4 days into trip and they too were a game changer! Life is more fun if you are comfortable!

Wish I had purchased sooner. These are awesome!
I have bad circulation and my feet are always freezing. These socks are a Godsend! They keep my feet toasty for half the day on the low setting. If I'm particularly cold, I crank them up on high and I'm warm in a minute or two. You fee the heat right away. The only down side is that they tend to slide down my bird legs after a while if I'm walking around. Some of those old fashioned sock holder-uppers would work well for that. Anyway, I say buy them and you won't regret it!

Great for snowmobiling!!!
Tried out these new socks yesterday on the snowmobile. I’m kicking myself for not doing it sooner. I’m ALWAYS cold and have always used the hot hand and toe warmers even with the best gear. It started out at 5* outside and warmed up to a balmy 10*. I kept the socks on the lowest (green) and it was plenty and they lasted 7 hours! I was afraid of the battery freezing but nope. They are heading to Canada for a week long snowmobile adventure and I will update after that.

Fit great and work very well
Work very well and fit great. I've used them several times riding my bike in 0-5 degree (celsius) temperatures. I turn them on and instant warmth! Happy customer!

Love them
I need a second battery set. The first ones only last a few hours and I am snowmobiling 12 hours a day.

Partila foot heating. They're a decent buy, but practice, and take backup for big adventures.
These have been great socks. My favourtie thing? They weren’t made in some ridiculous orange or red print to look like fire!I grabbed these ones in part because they are blue, and more stylish than a lot of the seriously tacky ones you can get. They are average, in that the heat is concentrated in one area. For best use, you want to use these in a slipper or other ‘top layer’. They won’t feel very warm if just ‘open air’. I would advise everone to bring a second pair of socks. If your feet are cold, put them on high for a minute or two to give you some fast high heat, but then reduce to low, otherwise your feel will sweat, and theses weren’t make to wick moisture, so then you’ll have wet feet. Until you’ve figured out what works for you, always have a back up.I’m rating at 3 stars, as they give the impression there’s warmth for the whole foot, and good for outdoor activities like cycling, but I find heat distribution is more centralised. And whilte they are breathable, this doesn't mean they are wicking if you sweat. The are still a good buy, if you’ve read the listing, compared others, and decide this is what you want. One of my favourite features is the button on the side of the sock. While it's awkward with pants on, I still like that you can put a button and tell buy the colour what the setting is. Just make sure you have 'practiced' with them before taking them out on a big adventure. Do small hikes, short ski days, or rides before counting on them for a day, or like I mentioned, bring back ups just in case. And this kinda goes for all things like this. For me, the fact that they are blue and look normal was a big feature.
