Solar Lights
This is a gorgeous set of two solar lights that charge when the sun is out and emits a warm white glow after dusk. They are a breeze to assemble by screwing the spikey part to the top half and seem to hold well once put into the soil. I have mine in two planters on a small ADU deck and while they don't provide enough light to replace a walkway light, they glow long after dark. At $22.13 for a set of two, I feel they are priced well for the quality and durability of the product.

Beautiful
The lights are beautiful and demand a spot near a flat surface so you can fully enjoy them as they cast images to the surface. In our garden, the sunniest spots are planted, so the pathways are not sun drenched, leading to these lights not getting a full charge. Please take that into consideration when I say they do not last here until dawn. But we love them!

These add delightfully to my solar collection!
I'm giving 4/5 stars only because one of the solar lights is defective. The flaw seems to be in the switch, not the ability of the light to actually work. When I take the solar disk out, it lights up immediately. When I put it back in, it won't ever light. We've played with it and it works fine when you fiddle with the switch. But, that doesn't help when I want it for the purpose of the one you see in the photo. So, I'm getting a replacement solar disk. That's another good thing about these lights - the replacement solar disks are easy to find. I've had many like these over the years, and they are all on their original solar disk still. I fell in love with this design based on the fact that it is hummingbirds and flowers, and the 'daytime' color is a beautiful copper. So far they have not rusted and we had a ridiculously rainy season this summer! Super easy to put together and install. I really like them a lot!

BEAUTIFUL SOLAR SIDEWALK LANTERNS
The solar panel/battery slips into the top – best to face the sky/sun. The stand screws into the base. Caution: The "antique copper" cone is plastic so do not use it to press down to push into the ground. The stand is metal and has an "h" shape so that you can use your foot to press it into the ground. The cone is full of stencil patterns and has a beautiful, antiquing finish on the plastic. They are attractive both during the day and at night as they cast their silhouette shadows on the ground/sidewalk. The control is a simple ON/OFF and it must be ON for the battery to charge. You should charge it for 6+ hours in bright sunlight for the first time. Mine are in partial shade most of the day and they were able to charge nicely using partial sun and ambient light. They were on most of the night.INSTALLATION: Position the solar panels for best exposure to the sun. They will charge with ambient light but like with cloudy days and storms, the charging will take longer and perhaps be partial = less light duration at night. The solar panel is also the D2D (dusk to dawn) sensor – if you block it, the light will turn on (you can test the unit this way).Misc. Notes: It is not uncommon for lights of this type to come on at dusk at different times – variations in the light sensors. It is best to allow at least a few inches from the soil to avoid rain splashed mud from covering the solar panel which will reduce their effectiveness. The solar panels should be checked for leaves and dust occasionally and cleaned with a soft cloth.WATERPROOF: This is rated as "IP65 waterproof" on the product webpage. The units do not have a waterproof hallmark and the included pamphlet does not mention "IP65 waterproof". A rating of IP65 is common for these solar panel/battery outdoor lights. However, IP65 is water-resistant. Waterproof and water/weather-resistant are two very different ratings. IP65 is dust-tight (6) and water-resistant (5) which is good enough for rain, snow or sprinkler but not for high-pressure jets or submersion. To be waterproof, you need a combination IPx6/IPx8 rating.

Love these!
These two solar lights have a really great reflection on the patio. They look really awesome at night. I would highly recommend them, and they last a long time.

Love the pattern
I had a hard time choosing which pattern to go with on these lights because I loved them both, but I don't think you could go wrong with either. When you get these you will just need to screw on the ground stakes and turn the solar panel switch on. The ground stakes are metal, which is great because they are so much stronger than the plastic of some similar lights. The whole thing is well constructed and solid. They can withstand my dogs who somehow manage to run into all of my backyard lights frequently. On occasion they do manage to knock the solar panel off because it just sits on top, but that doesn't happen too often. The lights stand pretty sturdy, so if you don't have crazy dogs you probably won't have an issue with that. These soak up the daytime sun and come on automatically when it gets dark. I love when there is nothing that I need to do to make this happen! They cast a beautiful pattern on the ground where you place them and they put out a good amount of light. My dog woke me way too early one morning for an outing, when the sun was just starting to rise and I was amazed to see that these lights were still on! They were pretty dim at that point, but that was still very impressive. I like that these come in a two pack to pair on each side of a path. I love these lights and I would recommend them to others.

Looks aesthetic not as bright
These lights are pretty much plug and play. It is very easy to install. The light is not as bright but the design of the light is very aesthetic.
