Needs readjusting!
First of all, wow, just wow. When I first flew it, it was stock, and the battery was put in the proper compartment like it showed. It "flew" terribly. It was stuck in an almost upright position and it kept stalling. Tail end is too heavy for its own good. To turn this into a 4 star plane, do what I did. I cut a narrow canal closer to the front that's just wide enough for the battery to fit snuggly. It flew amazingly. Play with the positioning, as when it's windier you may have to move it forward or backwards until you find the sweet spot. I rated it a 4 star instead of 5 because the manufacturers could have done a better job adjusting the proper flight balance. Do not give up on this stock plane, I knew it had potential. Hope this works!

Dont buy the cheap rc planes
This rc plane lasted about 10 minutes. It fell apart furst time it landed. The plane did not fly well from the get go. We have owned multiple rc planes and this one was the worst. Would not recommend buying this one.

Fun with lots of pilot errors - yes, me!
I follow military aircraft all my life and when I got this F-35 Lighting II model RC plane, I was elated. I will admit I have no experience with any sort of RC flying toys. So you can pretty much guess my first few days was frustrating. I spent more times bending down to pick up the plane after it banks into a crash onto the grass field. It didn't help that every day I picked I had winds to contend with. So glad it came with 2 batteries but that meant double the time retrieving and less air time. Overall, this is all good and expected. Every once in a while when I finally figure out the remote control switches and the plane is flying, it is worth it. I cannot fly the plane off the ground so either I throw it myself or ask anyone passing by to assist me.Still, the model is in great shape thanks to the tall grass field. This is fun and should get be even better with more practice. My true weakness is the remote. I am considering affixing labels to the remote to remind me what each button does. It may be just talk the talk since my eye to the remote control coordination is pretty awful. I hardly look down at the remote when the plane is in the air. That will change in time.5 Stars!

Needs speed to fly like a long drive or a good throw.
The first time I launched this plane it went straight for30', banked right, flew straight another 30' all the while climbing, and fell into the clutches of a plane eating tree at 18' high. The trees are vicious where I live, they also eat kites and drones. (Pilot error could possibly have been a contributing factor.)This is not a quick turn plane. Give it plenty of room, like a football field.

Not True
I bought this as an Angel Tree gift. It didn't look very durable and the instructions weren't clear. Batteries were not included in the remote.
