I ordered this item last August. I found it somewhat flimsy and after reviewing this item as such, I was contacted by the manufacturer and offered an improved version of this probduct.The improved version of this DIN rack mount was much sturdier. I was able to mount two heavy line filters on the improved product with none of the problems I experienced on the initial product offering.I have to compliment the manufacturer for quickly accessing my concerns and rapidly incorporating my concerns into a much improved product.Thank you Peter, well done.

This product works, but is extremely light duty and flimsy. I have a single 4-port industrial switch mounted on it, and although it does support it, the portion between the side-rails deflects greatly due to the minimal weight. I would not recommend this product, I am very disappointed by its quality of construction. The idea is great, but the overall construction is terrible. Not worth the nearly $90 I paid for it... it's worth $10-$20 at most. If I had seen one in person prior to purchasing, I would NOT have purchased it! Very, very disappointing.

The packing material was sturdier than the product. The spring clips were not springy and the clips or the brackets would have to be bent to assemble. Perhaps it would have helped if there were instructions in the box.

Rigid enough once screwed into a rack, but without four good screws this rack wobbles quite a bit. More than enough for mounting a few components though.

The bracket went into my home server locker to add some additional components. It worked as it should. I would recommend

Keep looking for another brand. Flimsy. Side clips bend and then don’t hold. I could have done better making my own for the price. Waste of money.

Worked well for custom install of din rail mount equipment.

Flimsy

I saw this product a while ago and was dissuaded by the price but recently seeing the price come down $25, I thought I'd give it a try since the design is almost exactly what I need. The product is a great design and is almost exactly what I was looking for but when I assembled the product, I immediately discovered that the materials are extremely low-grade, poor quality and in the case of two of the mounting screws they are bordering on useless since the heads started to strip while hand tightening them. The metal is very flimsy and the paint scratches off easily. The 'spring' steel tabs that secure the depth are not proper spring steel and instead deform if you bend them too much. For the price and application, I really expected a product with heavy gauge materials. I'm an industrial automation and controls Engineer with decades of experience so I know good from bad and this product really upsets me because it could be excellent if decent materials were used. This is a good idea and design but unless you are prepared to be extremely gentle with the assembly, don't buy it. If this product was sold for $20, I wouldn’t be complaining. The irony is that the product was extremely well packaged and there was great information on the Amazon product page that made my buying decision easy. Most things about this product are great but the low-grade materials and high price mean I will never buy it again or recommend it. I have since found a StarTech product that is very similar, although a little more expensive, but in the reviews, buyers comment about how sturdy it is. I’m going to try it.

The audacity to ask for £97 for this product, is beyond belief!Everything on this bracket is very flimsy, the clips don't work and the bracket does not support the weight.The item was purchase to be used on a professional environment, and i had to make adjustments in effort to reinforce the bracket and support the weight without flapping around.

Unfortunately the DIN Rail height isn't meeting the specifications of 35mm. instead the DIN rail height is 36.8mm.
