I expected something more durable for this price.
The mats arrived in a tube, and I don't know how was I supposed to unpackage it, but I managed to scratch the lamination by pulling them out of the tube. :(It seems that it will take a few days to flatten the mats, and I probably can't store them in the tube, because in their curved state they are not usable. The print is a bit simple, but it looks nice. The markers are working, and erasable. My only problem is the material of the mats. It is much thiner and much more fragile than expected. For £35 I was hoping for something more durable, that we can play on, not delicate art pieces.Since I already damaged it, I won't send it back, but I'll probably look elsewhere next time.

Long lasting potential, a little full and hard to uncurl. Good price for quality.
I use these for playing a homebrewed campaign of Dungeon Universalis, which is a hybrid of board game and an RPG. Initially I just wanted large terrain textured backgrounds and I would be placing objects on top. But since these were laminated, they offered the bonus that I could draw crude diagrams on them. Unfortunately they come really rolled, so to get them flat I have to use a sheet of plexiglass on as a cover. I have tried coaxing them back to flat by reverse rolling and heating them gently with a hair dryer, but so far it is still a work in progress. They still serve their purpose as backgrounds, and with a lot of weight on the corners and center you could lay them flat on the table without a plexiglass sheet (although there is always the danger of recoiling if the weights are not heavy enough). With this currently unresolved exception, overall the quality is very good. The print is sharp and bright, the laminated material is thick and sturdy and the writing accessories are on the good side of the dry-erase quality fare. The price is also quite good for 3 large double-sided laminated sheets. Some may find the patterns are not interesting or unique but for me, they serve the purpose of providing a background that won't take away from main features or points of interest placed/drawn on top. I actually prefer using home-printed stickers for picturesque features and drawing outlines with wet erase chalk markers, the colors pop a great deal and the laminated surface allows for both these options without any damage.

Great reusable laminated gaming mats are big enough for any adventure
Really impressed with the laminated gaming mats -- perfect for a large layout in your adventure. Easy to write on and wipe off with whiteboard markers. They're big!! Be sure to lay them out flat the night before you want to game, to help them relax and not curl up. The tube is good to store them, but if you have somewhere flat to keep them, that will be good, too.Worth it if you have a regular game that you want to put your mini figurines on -- lots of fun.

Large mats for extensive dungeons!
As a dungeon master I’m always working on new settings and dioramas to build our world on. I picked up these mats as a simple alternative to more complex settings, and these mats are incredible! They definitely give me a lot of options for scenery and creating different environments. The dry erase markers work great! You can mark and wipe off with ease. The only warning I would issue (which isn’t a bad thing at all) is that they are definitely larger than I would have imagined.I would recommend using these if you have a long dungeon prepped with lots of rooms and hallways to draw in, if you have lots of terrain to scatter on the playmats, or if you’re okay with keeping parts of it rolled up. When I placed the miniatures on the playmat, the empty spaces felt very glaring due to its size.Overall though they are durable material and look great!

Pricey mats for the materials and quality of artwork
These mats are similar to my old dry erase calendars from many years back. They feel like heavy paper stock laminated. The prints look good although I think it would have been nice if there was a little more variety in the patterns. I feel the unique texture repeats too frequently on each sheet. These sheets are $49.99 at the time of this review and that feels awfully steep for what you get. Although they may be "high resolution" according to the product listing, there isn't much detail in the textures at all. It doesn't feel like there was much effort put into making the tiles actually interesting. On top of that, there's nothing special about the materials used either. I have a hard time justifying the price.

GM and wargamer best maps for the costs
These are amazing. Easy to write on and with a good bundle! You get everything you need to start you DnD game. The only down side is the fact they are rolled and may need to be press overnight with a weight to remove the curve.Beside that, it is an amazing kit of battle maps! You will hardly find a better price for such variety. All in all, this is a must for any DM of wargamer that play small skirmish games!
