It’s up to you if you want to decorate it with those decals so you can make it how you want.-The shell is attached via a velcro system instead of the usual cotter pin style. This makes it easy for you to take off the shell quickly if needed.-There is NO Power switch on the vehicle. Once you plug in the battery, it is active. If you don’t turn on your remote, then it’ll auto-shut off after about 15 minutes.-There is a headlight button on the remote, on the side. So you can turn on/off your headlights at will. Unfortunately, they are not very bright LEDs. This is my one complaint about this vehicle. For being such a powerhouse of an RC Truck, you would think they would give it better LEDs.-This RC Truck has one more thing you don’t get a lot of in this cost range and that’s rudder adjustment. As you increase your rudder, this loosens up the steering so you can do things like 360 spins, drifting around..etc. It's really fun. So experiment with your adjustment and see what you can do.-The built quality, suspension, tire stance, all of it is top-notch for this kind of cost range.-You also have 2 rollers on the back of the vehicle to help it so you don’t easily flip your vehicle on the backside. It’s an excellent touch and something I wish I saw more of.-This is simply an aesthetic point but the wheel on the controller actually looks fully like the wheel of a car with calipers and a break disk behind it. Thats one of those little things that to me goes a long way. Is it necessary? No, is it cool if you like cars? Yes.Performance though overall is excellent on this truck. I would break it down this way:-Slower Acceleration-Slower Reversing abilities-But Fast Top Speed-Really good Cornering-Excellent steering Control adjustments-Well grounded with a very wide wheel stance-Powerful Motor-Works On most terrain, with very good climbing abilityThis has been one of the best RC Trucks in this range that I have used thus far and I think it’s more than an excellent introduction to the world of RC vehicles for a lot of people. If I had any complaints, it's the headlights are not that bright and it only uses an 1100mAh battery. I would have given this something in the 1500mAh or higher out of the box for the size of the car and the battery drain the motor takes.

Bought a few cars like this now for 3yo to have to run with my cars around the yard. This is a bit much for him but will be perfect for 5-6-7 yo kids, it's just a little faster than some of the others, which is great if that's what you're looking for! The controller is nice and sturdy. Easy to figure out. Plastics are well made and the vehicle overall is of good quality. Great for beginners! Very happy with the quality of this car

I'm not sure that this truck is 1:16 of a real vehicle. It's size does not disappoint, but I'm just not sure how accurate the size is. The wheels are large compared to the body of the truck, which is great. The wheels also have great traction. The shocks are phenomenal, which is really saying something when comparing it to RCs at hobby shops. Those shop RCs have replacement and detail parts and that come in different styles and sizes, so you can make your car your own. It may be difficult to find replacement and detailed parts for this RC. It arrives as a very plain RC and includes sheets of stickers to decorate it. The charger works well and doesn't take forever to charge it, but the battery doesn't last long. The remote is comfortable to hold, easy to use and just takes a few batteries. Overall, I think this RC is worth the money.

This is not a toy for kids, maybe teens. It's really fast. The remote dials can be used to control the maximum speed allowed, however, reducing the max forward speed seems to impact the reverse speed by a multiple factor. So reduce by x max speed forward causes reverse to reduce by 3x.As far as accesing the battery connectors, you have to remove the plastic car body which is stuck with velcro, I took some time to figure this out, so I was able to connect the battery by just lifting the edges of the car body to make the connections
