I like the easy use of this tool, One hand operation! Compressing the piston back is easy to do with this tool.

First off, I’ll say this isn’t the easiest tool to use for resetting the pistons. Although it does work if you know what to do. I’ve been using it for the past couple weeks on trucks that have pistons on both ends of the caliper opposed to using a simple pistol grip clamp for the single pistons. It’s easy to get the thing going, but it might not be the best solution for some people as the plates will fall off if pushed too far. You’ll need to back out and slip in a brake pad to make up for the space. Not the best quality tool, but it hasn’t failed me yet. Cheaper than bigger name brand caliper tools. Works just the same. Nobody needs to spend $100 on a too like this. This will do.

Thus far this tool has been working great for me! The included caliper hangers have been a nice plus too! Today I did start to notice a few spots of the threads are starting to look a little "pulled" but the tool hasn't given me any issues yet. Will report back in necessary! So far, very much recommended!

I've tried a few different tools for collapsing brake caliper pistons and this one is probably the easiest to use and the fastest. It's pretty slick. If you are looking for something other than a c clamp for doing brake jobs this should do the trick.

These are a must have for any DIY mechanic. I always used C - Clamps to compress my brake calipers in the past. That was always a hassle as they never fit right and always would fall out. This caliper compressing tool changes everything. These ratchet out and compress the caliper pistons easily. No slipping off and resetting needed. Just adjust them out so they are close and then start ratcheting. They even come with a couple of hangers for your calipers to keep them from hanging on your brake lines. These hangers are a little thin but they should do the job.

- Item arrived in well packed box- Quality of material and product is very good and finished, set of hook to hang caliper is added bonus- It is bit tricky to use, don't expect that this tool will expand when you start rotation ratchet handle, you have to first hold middle barrel initially and then both plat will start expanding because you have plate on both side and in middle you have barrel that has thread on both end for each plate and so ratcheting will rotate both way even you are trying to expand plate to compress piston, its not that hard to use it you will figure it out- It worked fine to compress vehicle's brake piston, its better then C clamp ofcourse because for C clamp you will need leverage on back side, rubber handle on this tool is good- Overall it is very good product- Price is very reasonable, if you have multiple vehicle and like to work on brakes, this tool will help lot- Surely recommend product

I don't do brakes all the time, but when I do I hate using a c clamp to press the piston in, even though I used an old brake pad, there's always a risk it will slip or break something. With this tool, that's no longer a concern. I'm actually a little excited to change my brakes now.
