I have an old drafting table with adjustable height and tilt, and I found that the included handles just weren't providing enough torque. I purchased these to replace them, and they worked great!I can tighten them down much more now, and my drafting table does not move unless I want it to.They can also take quite a lot of abuse! I made an attempt to modify them, because I found that the threads weren't long enough for my use case. But I could not break the thread from the handle. The material is durable and high quality.

The nut did not fit in the channel of my A&E by Dometic awning. The original nut is hexagon shaped with a diameter of 13/16" . I used a grinder to reduce the width on two sides of both nuts. Tapeing the nut to a length of wire helped keep it in place for installation in the channel. Once installed it works well.

These fit and replace the mismatched and battered knobs and square nuts on my good old Carefree of Colorado manual camper awning. These knobs are a little bit larger and easier to grip/turn than the old ones (yay). It would sure be nice to have a new automatic awning but for now with these simple new parts everything is back up to snuff and I'm saving some coin and keeping life simpler too. Good luck!
