This is an Awesome Set. Both are nice and large to accommodate any size of meat were cooking. I was lucky e;nough to catch this set on a Lighting Deal. Awesome Set & Awesome Price.

I didn’t realize the press has ridges on the side that touches the food. I would have preferred it to be flat. Should have looked at the photos.

I’m glad I finally purchased a set of these. I’ll keep on at the house for use in he kitchen or the grill and the other one on the boat for the grill. Look good, good heft and easy to clean

These are exactly what they are advertised to be. If you've worked in professional kitchens, these are exactly what you think they are. And seem to be up the the same quality. There's two types I've seen over the years. The lighter aluminum/alloy weights, and the heavier steel/iron weights, and these are the latter.I just used the round weight to press some spatchcocked chickens on a griddle while camping (like what people call "brick chicken" now), and it worked perfectly.You will need to pay attention to these to keep them clean, again in you've had these in a professional kitchen you know what i mean.
