NeuLog logger sensor is used to measure the concentration of nitrate ions (NO3-) in aqueous samples, and can be used to monitor chemical reactions, water quality, environmental health, and small animal behavior for further study. The logger sensor has an attached ion-selective nitrate electrode probe for calculating nitrate levels, with a sealed, gel-filled reference chamber that requires no refill solution for ease of use. A plastic cap protects the reference chamber in storage. The logger sensor has an experiment duration of 1.0 second to 31.0 days, and 15 bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) resolution for reading a range of values. In addition to the nitrate electrode, the sensor operates with nitrate ionic strength adjuster (ISA) and nitrate 1,000.0ppm standard (included). Supplementary equipment required to conduct nitrate sensor experiments include a wash bottle with distilled or deionized water, several clean beakers, and 1.0mL, 10.0mL, and 100.0mL pipettes (sold separately). The nitrate logger sensor can be used for environmental, ecology, chemistry, and biology experiments, and is suitable for grade 3 and higher, or ages 10 to 21.The logger sensor consists of a data logger, flash memory, and a sensor for fully self-contained data gathering, and is plug-and-play for immediate readings as soon as it is connected via a USB200 or WIFI202 connection device. The logger sensor sends data in digital format to a PC, Mac, tablet, smart phone, or other viewer device. The logger sensor includes a guide with instructions for use and care and more information can be found at Neulog's website.SpecificationsRange and operation modes 0.10 to 14,000.0mg/L0.10 to 14,000 at NADC resolution 15 bitResolution:0.1 mg/L (0.1 to 1,000 mg/L)98 mg/L (1,000 to 14,000 mg/L)0.1 ppm (0.1 to 1,000 ppm) 98 ppm (1,000 to 14,000 ppm)Maximum sample rate (S/sec) 100
