Solar Panel Mounting Brackets ABS Drill Free Corner Bracket Kit for Van
I recently got a set of Solar Panel Mounting Brackets for my van, and while I haven't had the chance to install them yet due to the cold weather, my initial impressions are quite positive. The kit includes 7 pieces in total, all crafted from high-strength, UV-resistant, and environmentally friendly ABS engineering plastic. Just by handling them, I can tell that these brackets are solid and built to last. The design, which focuses on protecting the solar panel's edges and corners, reassures me that my investment in solar energy is well-protected.One of the standout features of this bracket kit is the no-drill requirement. The idea that they can be bonded with sealant (note: not included in the kit) is a huge plus. For those who want extra stability, there's the option to drill holes and use screws (also not included), which is a nice touch of versatility. The waterproof cable gland included for wiring is another thoughtful addition, showcasing the kit's attention to the finer details of solar installation. Moreover, these brackets are universally compatible with any aluminum-framed solar panel that's 11.8 inches or longer, making them perfect for my larger panels. The design also facilitates ventilation and heat dissipation, ensuring a cooling air gap between the solar panel and the roof - a clever feature for maintaining efficiency. However, the lack of mounting instructions and recommendations for the appropriate adhesive type is a slight drawback. For a DIY enthusiast, these details would be incredibly helpful for ensuring a smooth installation process.Overall, I'm eagerly looking forward to installing these brackets in the spring. They promise a secure, drill-free solution for mounting solar panels, which is exactly what I need for my van.

Cheap, effective, could be better
The idea here is that you mount these with adhesive to your structure, and then the solar panel rests in these. You will still need something to hold the panel down. These prevent the panel from sliding around, but do not prevent wind from lifting the panel off of them. They don't claim that, so I didn't take a star off. However, I wish the entire underside were plastic, rather than just the outside edges. This way, quite a bit more adhesive could be used. Also note that they included a plastic box with cable glands, so you can cut through your structure and run cables through, watertight. This is optional, however. I did not end up using it. Also note that these do not come with adhesive, you have to buy your own.For the price, these do a great job. The underside not being completely flat and able to be glued caused a star to be removed. Not the end of the world, but could be better with a simple modification!4/5 stars, thanks!

Solar panel holder
I actually use this one solar panel holder to actually hold multiple panels. This thing works great for mounting a single panel to the top of an RV with a nice incoming housing mount but I'm actually using this to hold about five RV size 30 watt panels that are wired in parallel together and using these on the outside of the corners and in the middle in order to hold the panels down on the board that they are mounted to to be put up on the top of my pump house. Overall they're constructed a pretty decent plastic and they are actually very big in person. When I first seen these online I thought they were going to be very small little Jackie pieces of plastic but they're actually very big and durable that was a little bit of surprised when I got them in the mail when I seen how big of a box that they came in. These Mount up very easily and you pretty much just have to screw him down and they hold your panels in place they're very simple and you can't really get it wrong. I actually am using a thin piece of board in order to have the mounts hold all the panels together from all four sides almost like a big giant picture frame for solar panels and these just hold the framing down on the outside and it's working perfect for my needs overall I super highly recommend these if you need to mount down some panels

When you don't want to drill!
These are great when you want to install a solar panel without drilling holes all over your roof. I've been wanting to install a solar panel on the roof of my f350 work truck but I didn't want to drill any holes into my roof to do it and diminish the resale value. This worked great. I used the entry gland on the back side of the cab. Worked like a charm and looks great.

Great Brackets for RV or Boat
These are high quality brackets for surface mounting solar panels on an RV or boat where you don’t want to drill down through the roof or other surface where you are mounting the panels. These panels mount about an inch above the surface which allows for good air flow beneath the solar panels which is important as hot solar panels are less efficient than cool panels. We have previously installed similar brackets from a different vendor, and these appear to be nearly identical, both in size and quality. This set was slightly less expensive, and it includes the cable housing that may be needed to run the wires in through the roof. The other vendor charged extra for the cable housing.
