This works very well. Just a little warning. Make sure that there are not obstructions while in use. The device will only go up or down part way and needs to be reset. There weren't clear instructions on resetting, at least not clear to me, and it took me a while to stumble on how to do it. It is very quiet and goes up really high. I'm very happy with it.

Very satisfied with the product and service
I bought this lift to solve a problem in my condo, that is how to preserve wall space for art by hiding the TV while not in use. I mounted the unit on the floor behind a cabinet and, after calculating the proper height for my 50-inch TV and the clearance needed for the unit, I secured the base of the unit to the wall using the hardware provided. The power adapter was initially faulty, but after several rounds of emails with the vendor, a replacement power adapter was provided and that solved the issue. This TV lift is a very creative invention and I am impressed with the build quality (heavy steel frame that will support any TV) and the support provided to replace the defective adapter. I have recommended it to several friends.

I put a 65 inch tv in a box…
The media could not be loaded. Warning If you want the tv to lower closer than say a foot to the floor you need vesa mount extenders. For 65 inch tvs this makes a big difference in minimum height or box height. My box could have been 4-5 inches shorter had I known this before I built it. This also means that when lifted my tv bottom is closer to the top of the box. Although in retrospect there’s something good about being close to the top when the tv is lifted: less tempting for people to leave nick knacks on the box when the tv is up. Something bad would happen if knick knacks caught the screen.Update - my tips for those building your own box: if you want the box as short as possible: 1. Use vesa mount extenders. 2. Don’t put the box on wheels. 3. Don’t plan/build box before you can measure mount positions on the actual tv you’re putting in the box. Don’t trust any position info you read online! 4. This sounds obvious but can be forgotten: the smaller the tv, the smaller the box. There’s a huge difference between say 32 and 65 or 65 and 80+. In fact I doubt you’d like the size of an 80+ box. 5. Build it extra rigid so it won’t flex while moving because flat screens are very delicate. Any screen contact could ruin the screen

This is so cool!
We got this to watch TV in bed at night. Dear husband attached it to a solid credenza at the foot of our bed so that we could hide the TV when not in use. We feel so bougie using the remote to raise and lower our TV. It works smoothly, is a relatively quick assemble, and just what we wanted.

Instructions are garbage, tv mount screws are not correct and the lift range is too shallow.
This lift says it will fit 32" to 57" TV's. I have a 55" Samsung TV and I'm repurposing a cabinet to house it. The TV height is 28" and the lower mounting screw holes are about 9.5" from the bottom of the TV. This is an important measurement, as the instructions call for an inside cabinet height to be the largest of 3 possible values; height of TV, height of TV + 3", or height of TV + distance from bottom of TV to lower mount hole - 1". In my case, the largest value calls for an inside cabinet height of 36.5", but the lift range is only 29" (31" - 60" with the rabbit ears attached). So, why would I need a cabinet 7.5" higher than the lift range? With the lift and TV mocked up in the cabinet, it's too low and when the lift is in the highest position, the bottom 6-7" of the TV is still in the cabinet. So, I have to build up a pedestal for the lift to sit on. How much of a pedestal? About 7". Yeah, WTF? With a TV of 28" and lift range of 29", the position of the lift in the cabinet has to be fairly precise. Even then, I'm not sure the TV viewing will not be partially obstructed in full height position.IMHO, the lift range should be engineered to be about 5-6" more than the height of the TV and the instructions should be very clear about how much height the cabinet should be.Additionally, the mount screws supplied (and referenced in the instructions) to attach the vertical bars to the back of the TV are M6 x 10, but need to be M8 x 20. Another fail.

Works well and good hardware
Great item and moves perfectly. We love that it has other settings to place the TV. The directions were kind of hard to follow but overall great.

Gotta get one
Installed it in the bedroom, where we have sitting area also. Up/down at the click of a button. Perfect in bed with noextra pillows and not looking over the tops of my feet. I mounted it directly to the wall/studs, no based was needed.
