Favourite soil by far
Allot half and hour plus to hydrating the soil. Helps to be in spot you can get messy, aka not a kitchen table project. Once it’s fluffy, it’s such a beautiful texture. Breathable, large quantity, and great value for money. Works well across houseplants, veg patches, and flower beds. Easy to tell when plants need a watering as soil dries lighter, very beginner friendly. I will be purchasing again.

An unruly block at first but makes a nice mix.
I hadn't really thought it through when I order this. I had used coir before for chillis (50/50 mix) and thought this would be good to try for peppers and chillis.I hadn't banked on what a huge lump this would come in. (my fault for not reading properly!) The instructions say place in a large container and over with water, but I didn't have anything big enough to put it in! (plus didn't need THAT much all at once). The block is about the size of a big cushion. I ended up carving bits off with a serrated knife, which wasn't that easy but got done in the end. I then place these bits in a bucket and had to guestimate how much water to use.I did get it to work and it has made a bucket full of coir mix, which I then mixed again with vermiculite and compost. The pepper and chillis I have planted so far are doing well, so I am pleased.I still have a HUGE lump left so have plenty to play with when the plants need potting up.I have kept the block in the box and placed it in a dry shed and think it will last me a long time!

Fantastic product it goes so far.
Make sure you have a huge container to put it in as expands such a lot. I bought 2 well worth it. Excellent value for money

It took longer tham I thought to rehydrate it but once I had and it fluffed up its fantastic.
Value for money, eco friendly, very easy to use.

I can't recommend.
The Coir itself is fine but there is no bag to put the Coir and water in to let the Coir expand. How they work out one block us 80 ltrs God only knows. I've used Coir many times and it expands to 40 ltrs at best and you ALWAYS get an expansion bag . Won't use this seller again
