These are made from good, thick metal, and they're surprisingly well made for the price!

The sight of this Jelly-Shark ruler stationary set made me somewhat nostalgic for the kinds of old trinkets I'd find in my grandparents' desk drawers. I really liked the idea of having a nice brass set in my own desk and these are useful to have for small sketches and things. I like to design and sketch things out, so I knew I'd be able to use these.When they arrived, they were as heavy as I had hoped and seem to be decent quality. They do have "Jelly-Shark" laser printed on them, but the markings are engraved. The finish quality is good with smooth edges and everything is smooth without any sharp edges or corners.I checked these against some other rulers and tape measures to make sure the scales were accurate and these matched up with my other measuring devices. There was actually one name brand ruler I have in my drawer that did not agree and surprisingly it seems like that name brand ruler is off, which I never knew before. This set agreed with everything else including both new and vintage rulers, so I would say for all intents and purposes these are well manufactured and accurate across the full range of scales.Overall I am very happy with these. They are a bit expensive, but they do have a premium feel and are sure to last a lifetime. I plan to get some good use out of these and hopefully a future generation finds them as interesting as I do.
