soap has refreshing scent, hydrate well after shower
This Old Spice bar soap takes a departure from the traditional Old Spice scent, offering an uplifting twist.Upon unboxing, the bar soap emits a pleasantly refreshing and delightful aroma. Its texture is lavishly silky, providing a smooth feel when held in the hand. While lathering lightly in the shower, it instantly boosts the skin in a silky texture like shea butter. The soap rinses off easily with warm or hot water, leaving the skin feeling amazingly soft and nourished, eliminating the need for additional lotion after the shower.Furthermore, the refreshing scent lingers in the restroom, works better than the traditional air freshener long after the shower. The bar soap is definitely not cheap, but well worth the money.

Old Spice Premium Bar Soap, Shore is Nice Blue Agave + Fresh Waterfall Scent
There are some features of this soap that I like and others I'm on the fence about. First of all, the scent. When I first removed the plastic wrapping from the 6 bar set, the soap had a strange plasticky smell, not dissimilar to lotion that has expired. Thankfully, it doesn't remain when I wet the bar and use it. When in use, the soap does have a pleasant unisex scent that isn't particularly strong. This is a somewhat softer bar soap and it provides a creamy lather that is smoother than I was expecting. There are exfoliating chunks in the bar that I can't decide if I like. When scrubbing the bar directly on the skin, they feel nice and probably help the soft bar to last longer. When I want to use the soap to shave my armpits (female) those scrubby bits aren't welcome. My boyfriend isn't a fan of exfoliants in his soap and often complains that they won't rinse off. I presume his body hair catches the pieces but can't say for sure as he's not particularly hairy. It's winter here at present so it could just be the season or other conditions but our skin seems more dry than usual after using this soap. I often get dry flaky skin during the winter months but my boyfriend never complains about it. This week we've both been remarking how dry and somewhat tight and itchy our skin is.Overall, it's a decent soap depending on what features you're looking for and personal preference. I like that this soap, despite being marketed as an Old Spice men's product can easily be shared among household members without anyone complaining that it smells too many or too girly.

Good soap, good smell, interesting texture
First off, love Old Spice products. Recently received this package. It’s quite a few bars of soap. They smell great and are good size. In using them, I found myself surprised that they have a hard texture of pieces in the soap. It’s hard to describe except that it feels a bit like a soap that exfoliates at same time. It’s not irritating or uncomfortable; it’s just different. Overall this stuff works great and smells great but has a unique texture. All that said, I like it as would buy again.

Smells good, feels good to use, leaves skin dry, poor value
I have normal-oily skin and the soap I use day is Dove original - I mention this so I can contrast this with this soap. The smell initially came off as a bit strong but it's actually quite a pleasant-smelling soap, both during and after use.First the good things about this soap:+ The slightly rough exfoliating texture feels great to use on skin and that was a nice surprise.+ As mentioned, a good smelling soap and the after-shower fragrance is quite welcome.+ Does its job as a soap should. Now the not so nice things:- Despite the 10% more moisturizer marketing line, 5-10 minutes after the shower, my face was felt feeling quite dry. Prolonged use of this soap will require definitely result in dry skin that will suffer in the long run, especially if you don't use moisturizers. This is pretty much like any other men's soap out there in leaving your skin dry. This coupled with winter weather is definitely not the soap to use. I'm rather disappointed as I was hoping the 10% more moisturizers was actually more than just mere marketing spiel. I don't have this challenge with my daily bar soap.- At the time of this review, 6 bars are listed for $27 odd on Amazon which comes out to nearly $4.60 per bar. This is very poor value for a soap that's not some specialty soap. I spend about $18 for 16 4oz bars of my regular soap at my favorite wholesale warehouse (they cost about $26 on Amazon for 16 4oz bars) and I'm appalled at how expensive this Old Spice soap is. I'm not sure if this is sheer hubris from Old Spice or if they are testing the pricing waters but again, poor value.A final thought is the soap is a nice size at 5oz and felt good to hold in my large hands despite being a bit uncomfortable initially to use (given its large blocky shape and my being used to a curved smaller soap) against my body. Given the dry skin experience and the poor value, I would not order this soap again and won't recommend a purchase. While the scrubbing feel and the fragrance are welcome, the only thing premium about this soap is the price. At a lower price, for the right skin type and in the right climate/season, this could be your soap.

Wow. THe scent on this is incredible!
This is not your typical Old Spice scent from yesteryear. I was afraid this would be, and I would be the only one using it, instead of my wife. But, this has such a beautiful fragrance. I'm not joking. It's somewhat sweet, like an Agave nectar syrup, but also lightly floral, like Hibiscus. It's not that old spicy scent that I remember from middle school. No. This is a nice, neutral scent. THere is also nice texture in the soap. It has exfoliants in it. It sort of reminds me of a coffee soap I also have. And, it lathers very nicely. Better than any other soap bar I've used. In fact, I lathered my wash cloth with it, and when I put it on my soap rack, it was really sudsy even after wards.Anyways, I would highly recommend this bar soap. We get craft made bar soaps from a friend of ours, and she even taught us how to make our own. ANd, I hate to say it, but none of that even compares to how great this bar soap is. I'm being very honest when I say this is the best bar soap I've ever used, including Dr Bronner's castile soap.

Good soap bars
This has a fairly neutral scent, it smells good. It foams nicely and the bar is quite large. This is a good value with 6 bars pack. Also its plant based!!No complaint!
