Fold Over Elastic Black, Stretch Bias Binding, 15mm, 5 metres

Great item to have in my sewing stash. Very pleased and good value for money.

This is just as described and will be perfect for my future sewing projects. The stretch is perfect and it is easy enough to sew through. It folds over nicely and is good quality for the price paid.

I have never used this fold over elastic before today and because it has a groove in the centre of the elastic it folded over lovely and flat, making it easier to use as a binding. It comes wound around a flat bobbin wool type card so it remains flat whilst on the card. This elastic came just in time for me to use as cuff edging to some pyjamas I have just made and sews beautifully. My only gripe and this is why it has had 4 stars is that the elastic end was adhered to the wrapped elastic with a sticky pad which was difficult to remove. The sticky pad left it sticky in the two places where it touched, the cut end frayed when removing the adhesive and the elastic where it touched the sticky pad was left a little buckled. I was not keen to use this part of the elastic as I am not sure whether washing will remove either the buckling or sticky residue. Overall the product is lovely to use

I often make hair bobbles for my children using Fold Over Elastic and this does the job well.
