Pfaltzgraff Carmen Brown 16-Piece Stoneware Dinnerware Set, Service for 4 -

Bought a set in 2021 and a plate chipped within a year and bowl totally broke in pieces. Decided to buy another set to use as replacement pieces over time and the new set arrived with one piece broken and a plate that wouldn’t lay flat on the counter. Beautiful but terrible durability. Our first set of dishes, from Macy’s in house brand, lasted 20 years.

Nice casual dinnerware. The plates and bowls are larger than my old Corelle ware and, unlike my old Corelle ware, these don't get hot in the microwave. I have to stack the mugs to get them to fit in my cabinet and they don't stack well so I have to be very careful when getting dishes out or else the mugs topple over. Everything else stacks pretty well (I stack the mugs 2 high and the bowls 4 high). I like these so much, I purchased another service for 4. They seem very sturdy but I still treat them with an over abundance of care out of fear that they will shatter if I set them down on the counter too hard. I'll get over it.

Design is fun. They do not get hit in the microwave and are quite sturdy. Bowls are deep, HUGE, and don’t stack well. Plates are also over sized to the point they barely fit in our cabinet. Due to the size issues, I gave 4 stars instead of 5

I’m very happy with Phaltzgraff product, but Amazon’s packing left much to be desired. The shipping box was twice as big as the product and there was absolutely no extra filler (bubble wrap, packing paper).

Very Nice set but the dinner plates are a bit too big. I love the color, the style, etc. but they should shrink the dinner plates somewhat. They don't fit in a conventional cupboard, hence the reason for 4 stars.

I love these! After I got the first set and saw them I order another. Very study, heavy. I love the bowls, just right for ceral and soup. Highly recommend them!

Beautiful dinner ware for casual and formal dining.

First it arrived with a broken plate. This seems to be common with this particular dinnerware so that doesn't bode well for it's longevity. Second the mugs are virtually useless as the handles are tiny. I can barely get two fingers into a handle. And lastly the bowls don't stack well at all - as mentioned by others as well. It's a good looking set but poorly designed. Returned for refund.
