expensive, but worth it if they help!
I bought these for our 75-pound husky mix after buying the first bottle at my vet's office. I was very careful before purchasing to ensure I was buying the "original" product and not a counterfeit. They were sold through Amazon Prime, and the description said they were "by PSPC" leading me to believe these would be the real deal. After receiving the product, I carefully comparing the bottle to the one purchased at my vet, I will say I believe they are identical.Another thing, they definitely have the same stinky odor! I find this smell rather repulsive, and my dog acts like she doesn't really care for them either (she's suspicious by nature, LOL), but she will eat them with a little coaxing. Are they helping her? It's hard to say...we started giving them to her treating what we assumed to be a partial ACL tear. However, since then, the ACL tore fully, and she underwent "the expensive surgery (aka TPLO)." We will continue giving her these supplements for at least another half year, then reevaluate if they're helping her.NOVEMBER 2014 UPDATE: Received my second 2-pack of Phycox One just today. We decided to continue our pup on this product as she continues to recover from her TPLO. We ordered it from the seller VetInternetCo. Once again, I believe this is the authentic product, for those who might be worried about that (as I always am!). Packaging is identical to the product purchased at my vet's. The expiration date is 3/2017, so it is also fresh. So happy to have found these at a reasonable price on Amazon.JULY 2015 UPDATE: Just received my latest order of Phycox and immediately noticed that the red "ONE" banner was missing on the label. Also noticed the label stated it is manufactured by Dechra, not PSPC INC. I did a little research and discovered that Dechra bought out PSPC in 2014. Otherwise, the ingredients, dosing, and STINK is still the same as the older product, leading me to believe this new product is the same as the original. But I would have appreciated a little head's up here on Amazon. Still 5 stars!

Joint pain relief for older doggos
My old boy is now 13 years old. He is a golden retriever and husky mix and has arthritis in his hips. I’ve been using this product with him for two years now, and in the off chance I do run out I notice a significant increase in his sensitivity in his hips. When he DOES NOT have this supplement his back legs shake so hard he can barely stand up from laying down and he has extreme difficulty laying down from standing as well. Definitely recommend this product for someone with an older pup with joint sensitivity.

These chew tabs are safe for your pet and have no side effects like prescription drugs that will cause harm over time on ...
Works well and really helps my 14 year old lab with hip problems. Just don`t expect it to magically cure your dogs hip problems Most problems with hips in older dogs is aging and that there is no cure for that. These chew tabs are safe for your pet and have no side effects like prescription drugs that will cause harm over time on your dogs stomach or heart. Keep trying to get your dog to walk every few hours if possible. Letting your dog sleep all day is the worst thing you can do. In older dogs as they age the signal from the brain down the spinal cord to the back hips starts to degenerate. This causes weakness in there back hips that looks like arthritis but it is not. There is no cure for this but keeping your dog mobile (walking) as much as you can will help slow the progression of this condition. I know this after many years of dealing with older dogs mainly labs.

Works great and was a great price!
My dog has hip issues and can overdue it with only just a walk. My vet recommended this product and I bought it from him. I gave my dog two per day for the first month and then once a day for a couple of years now. It works great! She doesn't limp after long walks and eats them like they are a treat! And the price on Amazon is almost half of what I paid at my vet. Highly recommend if you have a dog with hip or other joint issues.

Visible difference
I noticed a visible improvement in my dogs mobility after giving her these for a few days and see a decline if I forget or run out for a week. Our vet had recommended them to another dog but they've been great for my 14 year old beagle mix. She did get tired of the flavor eventually but I crumble it into her dinner with some other goodies and she continues to eat them. Great value in the 2 pack.

I highly recommend these. It has changed my doggie's life!!! I am even tempted to take it! LOL
Let me just say that if my dog could talk, she would be saying, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! She is a lab/border collie/who knows what else mix who will be 10 years old in May. Anytime she went for long walks or tried to play with her ball or toys, she would start limping and holding up her front leg. My vet gave me a sample of these. We gave her one a day (she weighs 53 pounds) and within a few days, we noticed a difference in her. Within two weeks, she is playing like a puppy again! She POUNCES on her toys and runs up and down the stairs and just enjoys life again! The only time she holds her front leg up now is if mommy had her pouncing too much (cause she's so cute and so much fun, it's hard for me to stop playing with her, LOL), but it's nothing like it was! I will NEVER be without these again! Or I should say that my Lacey will NEVER be without these again. :)

We never run out of Phycox!
We own an almost 5 year old, 95 lb German Shepherd mix who has severe bilateral hip dysplasia. He's been on Rimadyl and Phycox twice daily since he was 9 months old. We can tell a difference in his gait if he doesn't get his daily doses of Phycox or Rimadyl. Some time ago we tried to give only Rimadyl but he truly had trouble rising from a lying position as well as maneuvering stairs. We now do not run out of either meds to ensure he has a great quality of life. We also have an 8 year old, 55 lb mixed breed who must take Prozac twice a day. She has some arthritic issues and has been on Phycox for about a year. She too has considerable gait issues if we do not give her Phycox daily. As a bonus we use her dose as a "pill pocket" to give her dose of Prozac!
