Not Accurate
Not very accurate. Good thing I have a more accurate machine (but with more expensive strips). I purchased this to get more daily readings. I am pre-diabetic, so the readings should be a lot more accurate. This morning I took a reading with the Prodigy : 121 glucose y then followed up with my machine : 105. So as you can see my readings have to be more exact. One is good and one is high. For me it's about 15 points too high.I also have to get the actual A1c test for a more accurate readings at the clinic. For me it is crucial that I know more exact measurements. I think I am beginning to get healthier, but I need to keep my guard up.Maybe you could adjust your readings as I do... I basically deduct 15 points in my case. But everyone's case is very unique.Hopefully by the time you read this the company has adjusted either the machine or the strips for more accurate readings. Maybe is an issue that they are working on. But I just recently got this on May 15, 2018. So I am not to sure... Or whether they would be open about it. Let me go to their website... Yup no mention of issues but I sent them an email to see what they think.I hope it's just a software upgrade.

Lancing device not included, so be advised.
Decent meter at a good price, but don't overlook the fact that a lancing device is not included, as I (unfortunately) did. Had to figure out how to modify the old lancing device, which is a different brand, to work with these new lances. Contacted the seller regarding this, and they said that (supposedly) many people already have the lancing devices. Really? And every lancing device is universal to work with any brand of lance? Seems senseless to me that a lancing device is not included when you buy a new meter.
