As an avid stargazer, I've always been fascinated by celestial events. So, when the solar eclipse was on the horizon, I knew I needed reliable eye protection to witness this rare phenomenon safely. That's where the Eclipse Glasses came in. First and foremost, safety was my priority, and these glasses delivered peace of mind. Their ISO 12312-2 certification ensured they met the stringent safety standards for viewing solar eclipses. With concerns about retinal damage during solar events, having this certification was non-negotiable for me. Comfort is often overlooked in eclipse glasses, but not with this pair. The fit was snug without being too tight, and the lightweight design made them comfortable to wear for extended periods. I didn't experience any discomfort or slipping, even during the peak of the eclipse. The clarity of vision was impressive. Despite the dark lenses, the glasses maintained excellent visibility, allowing me to observe the eclipse with clarity and detail. I appreciated how they effectively blocked harmful solar radiation while still providing a clear view of the event. Durability is another crucial factor, especially for a one-time event like a solar eclipse. These glasses felt sturdy and well-made, giving me confidence that they would last throughout the entire eclipse and beyond. The added bonus of being reusable for future eclipses or even stargazing sessions was a definite plus. One minor drawback was the lack of style options. While functionality is paramount, a more aesthetically pleasing design wouldn't hurt. However, considering the primary purpose of these glasses, this was a minor concern. Overall, I highly recommend Eclipse Glasses for anyone planning to witness a solar eclipse or engage in solar observation activities. With their exceptional safety standards, comfort, clarity, and durability, they offer everything you need for a memorable and safe viewing experience. Don't compromise on eye safety – invest in Eclipse Glasses and enjoy the wonders of the cosmos without worry.

Ordered these for the solar eclipse! Worked as they should protecting eyes and allowing for a view of the eclipse. They are made of cardboard so probably wouldn’t hold up with reuse over and over again, but are light weight and easy enough to throw in my boys backpacks so they could take them to school.

[Update:] Highly recommended. The glasses and photo filter worked flawlessly! No discomfort on my eyes while wearing the glasses, nor afterward. While yes, the frame is just cardboard, but the glasses hooked onto my ears snugly and are acceptably comfortable. Additionally, I taped the photo filter to my phone upside-down so I wouldn't accidentally drop it. (Next Total Solar Eclipse with landfall is estimated to be in 2026, visible to parts of Greenland, Iceland, and Spain.) [Prior to Update:] Will update this review after the April 8th, 2024 Eclipse. I cannot comment on how EFFECTIVE the product is, until I use them during an eclipse. What I can do is post pictures of what I received with legible labels and warnings: 10 eclipse glasses and 1 smartphone photo filter in near-mint condition. I believe only two of the glasses have slight defects to either the filter or paper-frame. I did purchase these at a fairly steep discount, so if they do work, I believe these are a great low-cost option. Authenticity-wise, these have been labeled as ISO 12312-2 compliant, thus assumably safe for eclipse-viewing. (I must, in good faith, warn you: please DO NOT to use these glasses on the sun during a non-eclipse day as a test! These were not graded to protected against the bare sun. They were designed to ONLY be used during the roughly 3-hour solar eclipse window.)

I’m a Texan in the path of totality! I bought this kit and was excited about the addition of the phone protector! I didn’t even know such things existed. The glasses held up for exactly as long as we needed them. They worked for my whole family from 4 to 40 and everyone saw the eclipse safely! I will say I did not get the camera piece though. You can’t look at the phone to take the pic bc the glasses block your phone, so I was just guessing when I was taking pics, hoping I was mashing the button on the screen and getting any evidence to show off my totality viewing. The pics were not great - ok they were trash, but my eyes saw the eclipse and I’ll always remember it. I would skip the phone protector bc I felt like I wasted time trying to figure it out. Glasses 5 stars. Phone thingy- meh!

We bought this set of glasses for the 2024 solar eclipse across the USA. The glasses were great and worked very well for our entire family (including kids)! I also liked trying out the included eclipse viewing panel for the smart phone camera. Overall, this set was a really good value and helped us see the amazing solar eclipse this year!
