4K Passthrough does not work
It’s a video capture card, but the HDMI 4K passthough does not work. A 4K HDR signal is not passed as it is.

Great product
Works great for me without any issues. Clear hookup instructions helped and I have hooked up my streaming equipment and it has worked great since. Also it was packaged rather well. I enjoyed the quality of the packaging.

Easy setup, Decent performance
I've seen mixed reviews on these capture cards in the past. I can't speak on the performance on 4K, but I can confirm on a 1080p screen that everything works as intended without any issues. I have connected this card to a Nintendo Switch OEM Dock via USB and was able to display perfectly at full fps on my PC via a media player as my source. It also works flawlessly with OBS with those looking to stream. This card does not produce sound via HDMI though, but features an audio jack so be sure to get an aux cable to run sound from the card to your audio output of choice (I run an aux cable from the card itself to my sound system)

No HDMI signal
I’ve spent the last two hours or so attempting to make this work. But nothing is working. I followed the instructions within the booklet perfectly and even looked up online some troubleshooting options. But OBS only displays a blank screen while my monitor informs me that there is no HDMI signal coming from the capture card. Even though my computer recognizes the device, nothing is working.

Party chat requires extra cables
This is pretty good for beginning streaming. I'm using it with my new gen Xbox currently. When I first got it I couldn't figure out why party chat wasn't coming through and it took me a long time to actually find the answer. So here it is. In case anyone else is having the same problem. You either need a chat link cable to go from your controller to your capture card or you need to use a couple splitters. The flow for the splitters goes like this:1. Into the controller you're going split the audio and mic into two using a male to female adapter.2. If your headset doesn't have two dedicated microphone and speaker ports, you're going to plug your cord into a female to male splitter** Note: they have to have a dedicated microphone and speaker splitter it's not a basic audio splitter for 1&23. Plug the one coming from the headphone that is labeled microphone into the microphone splitter that is coming out of the controller.4. In the speaker port on the controller's splitter you are going to put in a regular audio splitter so one becomes two. Female to double female.5. Plug a regular male to male cord of whatever length you like into one of the two split speaker ports and the other end will plug into your mic port on the capture card. The other Port is going to go to your headphone. Now you have a ton of cables but you have audio going to your capture card everything you hear in your headphones will be heard on your stream or in your recording.

Simply works.
OBS isn't required for this, although I do have it installed. The computer simply sees the remote screen as a webcam. Great!
