Amazing Spider-Man by Nick Spencer Omnibus Vol. 2 Ottley Cover

If you horrified and disgusted by Zeb Well's ASM run and heavily worried about Joe Kelly's upcoming turn as writer for Amazing Spider-Man then I recommend Nick Spencer's ASM run. Nick is most likely the fresh breath of air this franchise needed. Pick this up, you won't be disappointed. Nick does his best despite Marvel editorial trying to hinder him. He manages to retcon the horrid "Sins past" story arc, one of the most hated story arcs in ASM history, only to be rivaled by "One More Day". Now it's not 100% perfect but given the back-office politics that Nick had to deal from his editorial team and given Well's horrible treatment of a beloved character this is the perfect palate cleanser to wash the taste of God-Awful out of your mouth after reading what Zeb Well's did to Spider-Man.

I'll keep it short. If you like Spider-man, you will love this beautiful omnibus. Excellent binding and wonderful colors. It was worth the wait.What collectors are often worried about -- and rightly so -- is how heavy books are sent to the buyer. Well, the packaging was absolutely perfect when it arrived half an hour ago, and there was no need to be worried. None whatsoever. Thank you for that. For me that's the number one reason to become a returning customer. Also the book arrived when it said it would. A well-deserved 5-star rating.
