This has been super helpful to use on my infant now that he has gone to daycare. It has different age modes so I can use it on both my kids. This has been a lot easier, quicker and cleaner to use than the traditional thermometer. The is large any screen is easy to read aswell.

This thermometer works great I’m so glad I found a good one at a good price! I can easily switch between modes and it can be silenced which is nice. Also when it gets too hot the light at the top turns red that’s helpful especially when taking our kiddo's temps.

This thermometer supposedly has two uses, one for body and another for objects. I only needed it to measure foreheads to check the kids for fevers and it was surprisingly consistent and seems accurate. I specifically mention consistency because I've bought several of these non-contact body thermometers (both high end brand name and generic brand) and the back-to-back readings range wildly from 3-5 degrees Fahrenheit from the previous reading; one brand name thermometer said my child's slight fever was 105.2F.I can't test the accuracy because I don't currently have another reliable thermometer to compare against and all of my test subjects had normal body temperatures.Aside from the ergonomics not being the best, the display does have a limited viewing angle and must be looked at almost straight on to read it clearly. If you're looking at it at too far of a side-angle, the display appears blank

Some of these thermometers you have to be careful. The first thing we do is check the temp side by side with a regular armpit/mouth thermometer. And I can happily say this matches up nearly perfect. Within .3 deg. and we tested it a few days in a row. If you want one this one works great!

It reads very quick and easy and shows accurate temp, nice to have this handy especially when my little one is sick and fussy.

Not easy or practical

I wanted to wait a while before I reviewed this product - to see if I could better understand it. I still have trouble working this thing.It's not at all user friendly. Maybe it's me. Maybe I'm just not putting forth the effort. Maybe if I hadn't misplaced my mouth thermometer I wouldn't have had to get this thing. Once you have it turned on - it takes the temp fairly quickly. Only good thing (IMO) about it.
