Mlle Lenormand Cartomancy Deck of 36 Cards Toy – June 30, 2005

The art is beautiful and clear on these and the card stock seems to be thick enough to hold up to years of use. I do find these cards fairly easy to read and find the pictures really evocative compared to my other decks. The size is good too. It's the size most traditional decks are. I wish the correspondences were a little bit smaller so they didn't detract from the card's symbols. Despite the negatives , I think this is a great deck for people learning Lenormand.

Overall very good quality, pictures clear, good card stock. Smaller size easier to shuffle.

I gave away my first deck of Lenormand cards to a friend and needed to find a new set.I chose these because the colors are bolder than the Blue Owl deck I previously owned.I also like that this deck has the playing card inserts - Why? Mainly because some cards can double as people in spreads and so if you see the that there is a Jack, Queen or King in the insert you are alerted to that fact could be serving that purpose in a reading.I also like that the pictures are traditional because for me that helps me to remember the context of the deck a bit better. There are a lot of beautiful modernized decks out there that don't necessarily capture the essence and scope of the cards message and meanings. There's something about keeping the Rider- a man on a horse vs. a man on motorcycle or bike etc. that keep it all in the right perspective. The book card on this deck shows an open book which to me is a bit different but okay. Also the the Clouds, Moon and Sun are all sea scape scenes that's a lttile bit different but it works for me as they are all emoiton cards and water as an element does relate to emotions.These are a bit smaller than playing cards- the stock is nice and thick and they travel easily.Hope this helps you if you are looking add a deck to your collection or buy your first.

I highly reccommend this deck to beginners & veterans alike. The artwork is beautiful, and in my opinion the most beautiful of all the other traditional looking decks on the market. The art looks like watercolors to me. You will not be confused about the identity of any card when doing a reading. Straightforward pictures are so important, especially when you begin to try the Grand Tableau. An extra bonus is these cards are NOT made in China. Good quality cardstock, shuffles nicely. One reviewer mentioned they aren't getting "accurate" readings with the deck, this has nothing to do with the deck, but the skill of the reader. You could read Lenormand by writing the name of each card on a piece of cardstock if you had to. Lenormand is not easy, but once you see how dead on it can be you will be hooked. I have many Lenormands, & reserve this one for the Grand Tableau because of it's clear, clean images. Such a joy to use! Best value on the market, too. And good service...

Item arrived very close to when it scheduled to arrive and the product looks just like what is pictured, however it was a smaller deck than I expected, looks like a petit deck. The images are very lush and vibrant, but still have a bit of simplicity to them. A nice combo.

I have fallen in love with this little deck, it has been very easy to read, and accurate for me from the start. To this point I have done several readings with it, one particular reading was very long, for a friend, and everything was on the money all the way through the reading with the exception of one thing, which is to be determined because of a lack of knowledge about the situation. I just got feedback yesterday telling me all the things that were on the money with the reading. I am connecting with this deck really well, and definitely recommend it. I also like the size of this one, I was worried about that because of using large spreads with lenormand decks, but this one is nice, small enough to lay out all 36 cards for a large spread, and to stick in your pocket and take with you while you are traveling around.

This is my first Lenormand deck, and I absolutely love it. The cards are a great size, easy to deal with. The artwork, colors, even the design on the back is very pleasing. I have attempted a few readings so far, and the cards have been amazingly and eerily accurate! I look forward to getting to know this deck better.

This Piatnik deck is the same size with the same back design as El Scarabeo’s Grand Tableau. The card illustrations seem to be 19th or early 20th Century designs. Cards have a number and a playing card illustration. The cards feel great in the hand and shuffle smoothly.

As ilustrações parecem pinturas, ótima qualidade, mesmo tamanho de cartas de baralho. Qualidade um pouco melhor que o Copag. Amei!

La verdad es que el precio me hacía pensar que igual la calidad era regular. Al contrario, la calidad excelente. Cartas con consistencia, un satinado muy bonito, se barajan muy bien y los dibujos y los colores muy agradables. Se ha convertido en mi Lenormand preferido, junto al Lenormand Místico, aunque ahora utilizao más éste de Piatnik. Son pequeñas y van genial para tableros. Los dibujos claros, que hacen ver claramente el significado de cada carta, sin confundirte con adornos añadidos. Las recomiendo totalmente.

Ich lege schon seit etlichen Jahren die Karten und zwar inzwischen ausschließlich mit dem Piatnik-Deck. Zwar gibt es auch sehr schön gestaltete andere Karten, da ich aber zu diesem Deck hier den allerbesten Zugang habe, sind andere Decks eher Liebhaber- und Sammlerobjekte für mich. Und der Preis sollte Unentschlossenen helfen können, sich einmal heranzuwagen und anzufangen, das Kartenlegen zu lernen.
