Carnation Breakfast Essentials Strawberry Sensation Instant Breakfast Packets, 12.6 OZ

I can't eat breakfast in the morning. My body needs at least 3 hours of being awake before I can put solid foods in my gut. I've tried many times with all kinds of foods & get nauseated & vomit. Carnation has solved that problem for me. I mix it with vitamin D whole milk. Keeps me going without the crash of no food. I have also made it as a smoothie with fresh fruits as a mid afternoon snack and it's very yummy! So in short, carnation works, its budget friendly and very convenient.

Love the strawberry flavor.I mostly mix mine with half a packe , then add some ice cream , then my milk.Stir it up using a spoon or put it in a mixer for a few seconds. Then drink it or put in the freezer for the next day or when I am ready to eat it frozen.If you like it not frozen , then just drink it as-is.( I also mix this with Dole fruit cups , Ice cream & milk )

Kids love it but say the strawberry is a little weak in flavor. They even like it with water or powder milk substitute.

I gave the strawberry flavor a try. Pouring into a mixing bowl it seemed too much like sugar. The taste is ok, but would probably get old quickly if I drank it every day. My teeth indicate a feel as if I'm eating a high sugar junk food. Again, I reject another popular product because it has too much sugar and sweeteners and I believe it's harmful to my teeth. This review doesn't apply for everyone because each person is unique in taste, saliva enzyme profile and other diet and nutrition requirements.

I love Carnation Instant Breakfast. However, I only buy it when it goes on sale at the supermarket and that's rare. so to see it at the price lower than the store, I was happy. I don't drink it everyday, but it's nutritious and I can make my smoothies. Looking forward to purchasing it again!
