Fitness Barbell J Cups American Made Power Cage/Power Rack J Hooks for a Squat Rack

I was looking for a new set of j cups for ethos bench rack. It’s a beast of a rack 9 gauge steel (I think), 3x3 uprights with 5/8 pin. Hard to find a good pair of j hooks. I found these and ordered them right away. Shipping was super quick. Price is well worth it if you have a bar that you want the finish to stay in primo condition. My old stock j hooks were rubbing off the black oxide on my V2 bomba bar and I wanted to protect the cerakote finish on my new bar. The bare steel bar from rogue was eating away at the cheap plastic from the stock j hooks. These will definitely last a long time from what I can see. They fit perfectly on the 3x3 uprights on my ethos bench. I included photos. Also, these hooks make for easy unracking if you don’t have a spotter to give you a lift off and you want to keep your lats nice and tight. Purchase these and you will not be disappointed. I love these j-cups. I also have the Rogue Sandwich j cups. These are better. Better protection for my Rogue 3x3 Monster Lite rack and perfect fit. They arrived early on Christmas Eve (a big thank you for that). I couldn’t wait to write this review. I’ve been sitting here with one j cup in my lap admiring the quality and workmenship. It is awesome. Powder coat looks great, the welding is a work of art, no sharp edges, great size and weight - can’t find anything wrong. This is pure perfection. Look forward to XII:XI making more fitness products. Also, great price!

While regular J-cups will get the job done, these are definitely a serious upgrade. You won't know what you're missing if you have never used sandwich cups like these, but if you have, you will want them.Aside from the added protection with plastic buffering covering more areas your bar could hit, it also has polymer (plastic) on the back of the attachment where it contacts the rack post - which will make them quieter (something my Rogue cups don't have).Because they aren't as wide as normal j-cups, it also makes it easier to rack and unrack the bar for lifts. Whenever I was at a commercial gym, I'd always switch out the squat rack cups to sandwich cups like these if the gym had them due to how much easier it was to rack and unrack for squats.These are pricey for an accessory that is more luxury than necessity, but cheaper and better than anything else in this range of product. The quality is better than my Rogue j-cups, so I highly recommend these.

I have a 3x3 tubular steel rack with 5/8 holes. We measured everything before purchasing just to be extra sure this was the right size. One hook fit perfectly, the other would not, no matter what. I had to sand off quite a bit of the powder coating in order to get it to fit properly. Other than that, these are well made, very sturdy and so far worth the money.

The Jcups are perfectly engineered. Sturdy, fits right, changes out fast, looks good. My expensive bar won’t get scratched (lame, I know), and I can work out at 0400 without clanging my barbell back on the rack (is much quieter).Also, I had a special need that the company was willing to meet, even though it was not their issue! Really appreciate them!

Great looking J-Cups/Hooks, that are functional. However, with other offerings around the same price that include far more UMWH protected areas. This set falls short. Aside from that, the 1" pin was just a hair too small for my 3x3 rack. Was really looking forward to supporting this American Made brand, but will keep an eye out for future offerings. A-

Great j hooks and can not be beat in value for the money. Fits my 3x3 rack sturdy and looks very nice, love the build quality for a flat sandwich j-cup. I look forward to purchasing more products from this company

These fit great onto my RML-690 uprights and I prefer them over the standard Rogue hooks since there's zero chance of hitting the bar directly on the metal of the hook. Made in the USA, good price.. what's not to like?

These are better quality than you would expect at this price and they fit snugly on the rack. These were the only sandwich I cups I could find in Canada for a 2x3 rack and I am super happy with the product.
