Easy installation, quality material, lots of room
This works so well for our small car. We love to camp and find it hard to fit all of our stuff in a Ford Fusion. Having this on our roof gives us so much more space and makes it a lot easier to bring everything we need with us. It is pretty straightforward to attach it to the roof. The only thing that can be challenging is packing it while it’s on the roof because it is too heavy to lift when it’s packed beforehand. This could be easier for you, depending on what you pack in it, but we load ours up to capacity. I was so grateful that it is waterproof because it poured rain on our last camping trip and I was worried that it wasn’t going to hold up, but it kept everything completely dry (other than what we put in wet). I highly recommend it. We do add ratchet straps just as an added precaution, but the straps it comes with would probably suffice.

Waterproof
We were in vacations and overpacking, this products save my life. Easy to install it and has plenty of space, holds up to three suit cases , extra small space on the sides . The quality of the material is super resistant and waterproof, you can use it to travel or even to keep some stuff in you attic or garage .

Perfect, once I figured it out
The instructions for setting this up on a rails+crossbars roof weren't very clear, so it was a pretty messy install for the outbound trip, but I learned from my mistakes and you can too. The bad itself was just what we needed - a good size, well made, good zippers and very secure. I would have rated it a 5 if the instructions had been better. My tips:If you have fixed crossbars, put the front edge (with the logo) inside the rack, right up against the cross bar. The back can go over the rear bar. Otherwise, adjust them to be touching the front and rear when the bag is fully extended. The best way to pack for fixed bars is to have 2 regular size suitcases (not carry on size) and the rest in soft sided duffle bags and/or knapsacks. Place one suitcase in each corner of the front on its side, wheels toward the inside of the bag. I put one crossways (long side against the bar) and one with the long side against the rail. Then pull the top just over the edges in the front, which will form the front of a "box." Then lay the largest knapsack crossways in the back to one corner. It can straddle the bar or fit behind it. Now you have a shape you can fill, start in the front. You can pile soft luggage a little higher in the middle area, just be sure the zipper meets as you go.Once everything is packed and the bag fully zipped, tighten the front and rear straps as instructed. Tighten the center next (both sides) by looping the straps through rail. Once it's enough.Next fasten the two front straps, wrapping the side that doesn't clip onto the back in a figure eight where the bar meets the rail. It seems obvious once you've done it, but it took me a long minute to figure out to pass the adjustable clip end if the strap through the loop of nylon webbing holding the unused end of the clip. You'll figure it out. Now do the back two straps, same thing except no need to wrap around the crossbar. Roll up the ends of the straps and use the attached Velcro strips to fasten to the tightened strap.Voila. A perfect canvas box. We packed luggage for 7 people on top of a Honda Odyssey this way.

Amazing! Traveled 2400 miles!
If you are questioning this product DO NOT! This was the best purchase. I put my FULL trust into this product and have NO regrets. I traveled 2400 miles with all my belongings. No issues. I also had a 7ft ladder on top with additional straps. Mountains, heat, cold temperatures and moisture with no problem. Of course you hear strap movement and wind that’s just natural but it’s no big deal. The price of this bag is not beatable! I would buy this product time and time again. Perfect fit for my car. Amazing durability for my trip. No rips or tears. Straps held securely. Wish I would have remembered to take a picture but the trip was so long. I went 60-62 mph the entire time just for safety and reassurance reasons. All miles were traveled via highway.

There’s hot garbage, and then there’s this
If there was a way to give a this overly complicated piece of horse manure a less than one star, I would happily do so. Products like this should be durable, simple, and easy to use; yet this one fails spectacularly at all three. It begins with trying to locate the zippers underneath the unnecessary double Velcro layers that cover the entire zipper to prevent water from entering the storage compartment. This is unnecessary because the corners and seams will soon tear and develop a hole into the compartment after one use, rendering the waterproof zipper feature useless.Should you figure out how to open the bag, securing it to your roof will be your next challenge for several reasons. First, the method of lengthening and/or tightening the straps is so stupid, it’s beyond comprehension. This should be the easiest part of using this, but it is probably the most frustrating. Then, if you’re actually able to figure out how to use the straps, pray then that they will actually stay attached to the bag and not tear away from the bag less than three hours into your initial use. Actually, it now makes sense as to why there are way more straps on this bag than necessary, because you will need to use them all in order to keep your belongings from flying off your roof as the straps eventually rip off the bag one by one.We used this product 1.5 times. The bag lost a strap approximately 3 hours into the first drive, and developed a rip in the seam by the end of the 9 hour drive. The .5 use is because another strap broke halfway into our return trip, so I had to pull over onto the shoulder on the interstate to avoid a catastrophic accident and jerked this joke of a product off the roof and shove it’s contents into our minivan. The attached photos are after about 12 hours of driving. Spend your money elsewhere.
