Q: Does the colour from the fabric washes away?

Have washed mine several times, the colour is still as vibrant as ever and there has not been any colour transfer to other items in the wash.

Q: Is it ok to use on the beach or does the sand stay in the towel forever?

This can be used at the beach. The sand shakes out and if it's really fine sand it will wash out in the laundry.
