Good quality
I bought my protector over a month ago. It’s good quality & works well. No issues with cooking and easy cleaned, just don’t use a cloth with lint as this sticks to the surface.

good to use ,not easy to clean
It is good in general to protect the top. However, It is not easy to see the hob circle on the induction top and it is not easy to clean.

Protects My Glass Induction Hob!
The media could not be loaded. KitchenRaku Large Induction Hob Protector Mat.The KitchenRaku Large Induction Hob Protector Mat is well made and feels really good quality, it has a rubbery texture to it and it grips to our Induction hob exceptionally well with zero chance of it slipping.Using the KitchenRaku Mat we haven't noticed any negative effects and it seems to heat up food/liquid just as it did before, even boiling a pint of water and timing it with and without the mat it still boiled within 5 seconds of each other at 1 min 20 seconds, there's virtually no difference. The Mat is also semi translucent so you can see the hob markings and buttons through the mat, sometimes it can be tricky to see the buttons depending on what light is turned on but the mat can be cut to shape so we may cut out the button area at a later date, but one thing that does impress is that the mat still allows the touch sensitive buttons to work exactly the same as before, I was expecting it to be more difficult but it wasn't.I've been after one of these Induction protector mats for a while, ever since I dropped a spice jar on my mums hob and smashed it, as this mat has a slightly rubberised feel to it hopefully if I drop something on mine it won't break! For £37.99 at the time of reviewing its quite an expensive mat compared to others on Amazon, but are they as good? At around £250-300 for a new hob I'm not taking the risk!.

Not bad
Multipurpose, can be used to line a table for baking etc. Otherwise it lines my induction hob nicely and is able to tolerate the heat without issues. Helps to keep things nice and clean. Not bad. Recommend

Not so good as presented
It us serving it's purpose but it is not very transparent, it is very hard to see where the buttons are or where to place the pot

Superior to another make
I had a hob protector that I did like at first but I wasn't able to see any of the cooking areas or controls, it was difficult to get spill marks off and it would not lay without a multitude of bubbles showing. Although this KitchenRaku hob protector was a bit more expensive this shows in the quality of the product.Although the description said transparent it certainly isn't. However, I can see the markings on the hob faintly but enough to know what I'm doing without lifting the sheet. And no more bubbles! The sheet lays totally flat on the hob which I guess is to do with the material which seems to be a silicone-covered mesh. I've not spilt anything on the mat as yet to comment on how easy it is to remove those marks.I agree with comments in other reviews. Yes, bits do stick to it but silicone tends to be tacky and at least this means that pans, etc, do not move around. That also has it's downside in that when you put any baking sheets on it that are hot from the oven you can't get a grip on the tray wearing oven gloves. And the different shaped stickers that come with the sheet - no instructions for their use. My husband hazarded a guess that you placed them at the centre of the cooking areas but as the protector is black and these stickers are a gold- colour they would spoil the overall look of the sheet. If anyone else has any ideas then I haven't thrown them away yet, I may find their use after all!Overall, really pleased with the KitchenRaku hob protector, my other one has now been consigned to the bin.

Great Mat
I've been wanting to get one of these mats as my cooker top is a pain to clean, so was keen to give this a try.I've never used one of these before and wondered how it would be work and if it would fit with lifting up etc. It's a good quality mat and I'm pleased to say it fits flat and also is quite stable, so doesn't move around. It was a little large for my cooker top, so I cut it to size with scissors. I've not noticed any difference in cooking performance so I'm very pleased with this and wish I had got one sooner.
