I like my coffee. Bought this as a compact espresso machine to have alongside me in my so called 'Home office', to avoid disturbing my partner who is also WFH in the kitchen, and always seems to be in a meeting late afternoon when I need a caffeine fix...Compact, quick to heat to operating temperature, and powerful enough (20 bar) to use the ESE coffee pods.Quick to set up, and to calibrate measures for single espresso and larger (mug) measures.Makes an excellent espresso! Personally, not interested in steamed or frothed milk, so won't be using, and can't review, the steam wand, but no reason to doubt it will work adequately.Machine is very lightweight, so needs to be held firmly when attaching the portafilter, and removing same.In my opinion, makes an 11/10 espresso! No complaints from me, and very happy with this machine for a sub-£100 (at the time of Prime Day) purchase. 👍

Makes barista coffee that is ok. 2 problems the wand is difficult to clean and yet to be able to get the grounds out and easily hopefully they are both easily done with experience

I have been emailing them for couple months now as there seems to be a problem with my machine but they simply ignore my emails after their suggestions to me didnt work. Highly disappointed!Having never used a coffee machine like this before, I was a bit overwhelmed initially. Thankfully, due to the amazing customer service from the Kotlie team I felt quite confident in using it and it is actually very simple to do so.This espresso machine made a lovely cup of coffee, I was thoroughly impressed with my excellent cup of coffee. What I did struggle with though is the milk frothing. It literally made a huge mess, I'm not sure why and how. And not forgetting the loud excruciating noise the frother makes. However, I found that the milk doesn't froth as well as how my Velvetiser (electric milk frother / hot chocolate machine) froths my milk. It just only bubbles up the surface slightly and doesn't increase the volume of it. For this reason I sadly have to remove 1 star. That being said, I was quite impressed with how well it actually heated the milk whilst I was attempting to froth it. I have 3 other coffee machines for the 3 types of coffee pods, and none of them give me a "hot" cup off coffee. I tend to reheat it in the microwave quite a few times whilst drinking it. However, the Kotlie heated my milk pretty well. Even my Velvetiser doesn't it heat as much.The machine itself is aesthetically pleasing and makes a nice addition to any modern kitchen. It's simple to clean and very easy to operate. It's nice and compact which means it doesn't take up much counter space. Looking at the other reviews, it seems like no one had a problem like mine where the water tank was really tight and impossible to remove. I struggled so hard to remove it that it eventually flew out of my hand and fell to the floor. This resulted in the lid breaking off. Whilst it didn't impact making the coffee, it was quite disappointing as it broke before it's first use. I did contact the amazing customer service team at Kotlie and they have gladly offered to send me a replacement once they receive stock of it in about 2 months.

I am very happy with the coffee machine. Everything is working as planned (including the pressure meter) and with the right coffee it makes delicious coffee.Delivery was hassle free

This Espresso/Cappuccino Coffee maker, looks great on the counter.It's easy to use, you just fill the water tank (situated on the back) with cold water, press the on button and then press either the one or two cup button to pre-heat the unit, then press again to produce your Espresso/Cappuccino.To froth the milk as well is fairly simple, you just press the air button (far right) allow for it to stop flashing and then put the wand into your cup/jug of milk, turn the dial on the side for how much air you require and move the cup/jug in an up and down motion and viola, frothy milk.The reason for my bit of a faff comment though, is I found the coffee wand or handle (whatever it is called) very stiff to click into the lock position and actually required help from a second person to hold the machine while I pushed it into place, whether this will ease over time who knows, but it's a real pain when all you want is a quick espresso and that coffee hit, although I suppose it does frustrate you enough that you cannot wait for that coffee to relax you back down lol.Once that is locked into the place the machine is very easy to use, and keep clean. Makes a brilliant Espresso and froths the milk in a way that you feel like a barista, haha.It lost the fifth start due to the stiffness of the handle.

Owned this machine few months, at first I was really happy. Months have passed and it has been used daily. The machine now gets no pressure. It’s heavy and not very compact. I would save your money and buy a more expensive machine that will last you
