This corn meal and recipe on the bag makes the best cornmeal ever. Of course, making it in the oven in a cast iron pan is best.

Martha White's Corn Meal
It has a taste that we have been trying to duplicate from a recipe several years ago from a different brand of of corn meal [which we have not been able to find] but Martha White Self Rising Corn Meal is a GREAT alternative to what were use to.

First of all it’s ridiculously over priced. The bag I received has a best by date of 3/8/205 (30+ days from now)! The product is extremely old and “did not rise at all”. I’ve had used this product before and this purchase was such a disappointment. If you’re going to overcharge the consumer, at least provide a fresh quality-controlled/inspected product.

Martha White cornmeal
I love this cornmeal , I use it for my Grandmother’s homemade dressing recipe. I wish they carried in stores, they used to but not anymore.
