Hi this is a good dress the fabric is cottony and hugs my figure in just the right spots but I would be careful in colour choice . I bought this dress in both mute blue and grey and was extremely satisfied, however, when I received my order for the dress again but in the muted green I immediately noticed the fabric was different and was of cheaper quality.which was disappointing . The quality control on all the options are not consistent so be careful . But my blue and grey dresses are perfect for my curvey figure

I was looking for a dupe of a popular dress type and that's probably why you are here, too. I was scouring the reviews on this and many other listings to try and collect info, so I'm going to post my findings here to make it easier for other people.Here are the important things to know about this dress.-The silhouette, neckline, and the fact that it will hug your curves nicely are the main similarities with the dress it's a dupe of. The material of the dress is extremely different--I would describe it as a lighter version of underarmor-type exercise clothes. A lightweight, smooth, and silky synthetic that's pretty stretchy. It's definitely not a knit texture. I looked really closely at all the pictures in the reviews beforehand, knew what I was getting, and am happy with it. Some people really hate this fabric texture and think it looks cheap or like a costume, but I love it! It's easy to dress up with some jewelry and nice shoes, and it's adaptable to all but very hot or very cold weather.-This dress will show off your figure and make you look sexy, but it will also show all any lumps & bumps. Wearing hosiery, shapers, or no-show underwear will help if you're finding panty lines or muffin tops to be an issue. I like to wear tights with mine cause it smooths out any little flaws or underwear lines down near my bottom stomach & behind. I personally didn't need a strapless bra to wear this, but you could if you have issues with getting wide necklines to stay put. I find I have to adjust mine a little, mostly just making sure the upper arm is pulled down and twisted a bit to keep the neckline where it is. If you're in the habit of going completely "commando," that will also work great for hiding panty or bra lines, lol.-That leads me to another important note: this is not support wear. Don't expect it to suck you in or anything. Buy a shaper if you want that. I think some people who wear this are like "damn, my waist is getting sucked in from the dress" because it looks so good on, but--nope, girl, that's all you! Well, really, it's that the dress is cut to flatter you, but both are true.-Regarding the transparency: The dress can take a little bit of stretching and stay opaque. It helps if you choose to buy darker colors like brown or black. But the more you stretch it, the more transparent it will become, and it'll get REALLY transparent if you stretch it past a certain limit. Go for your normal size here or possibly size up if you're well endowed (big behind or bosom) if you are worried about it. I saw a lot of pregnant ladies in the reviews buying this type of dress for showers and photoshoots, and I'm honestly kind of mystified about how they made that work for them--the dress can stretch that much, but it would get translucent at least. My guess is that because people tend not to wear undergarments on their stomachs, it maybe doesn't stand out as much as, say, a non-nude bra on a large bust or non-nude underwear on a behind. I defer to the mothers in the reviews about all that. I just don't know.Another note on stretching--due to the spandex content, the dress has a slight sheen to it, and the visibility of that sheen gets more pronounced the more you stretch it. Somewhat depends on the lighting though.Other stuff:I am 4'11 and 108lb. The dress is just a hair too long for me. I can almost make it work without tall shoes, but the hem does drag on the ground a little, so I try to always wear platforms or heels when I go outside in it. If you are on the curvier side but short, it will lift the hem a little bit compared to if you were thinner. Just be prepared to wear it with heels or platforms OR get it hemmed if you're as short as me. You can also hike it up your hips a little, but I didn't like how that looked.You can walk in it just fine. The hem is flared out a little bit to give you space to swing your legs. You might not be able to spread out your legs that much sitting or lying down though.Tldr:Super comfyVery sexyStretchy synthetic fabric, not a knitAim for true to size or size up if you're concerned about transparency; wear appropriate undergarmentsI want like 11 more of these in every color...

i almost never come back to repurchase a dress on amazon. i've had a lot of bad luck ordering dresses off amazon but this one i was so pleasently surprised! i love the length! i love the fit! its a thick and comfortable black fabric.the sleeves are even perfect length!if you love Morticia from adams family wardrobe then you'll love this dress (i for one love her fashion sense! all black all the time! yeeeeah baby!)its so cute. but be warned its pretty thick for a "body con" dress. its a very warm dress so this'll definitely not be a summer dress. (which is fine for me because i tend to get cold a lot.)i'm actually going to order at least one more.no zippers or buttons or anything. its one of those great fitting dresses that'll slide on a off no problems. I'm 5'6" and 130 (athletic build) and small works for me perfect.NOTE: i don't understand what it means by "sheerness" when it comes to this dress because it definitely ISN'T sheer. but that's a good thing if you ask me... at least in this instance.

I’m 5’3.5” 160lbs. This dress fit like a glove. I wore it to a wedding & received so many compliments. The color is beautiful. Nice stretchy material. Will buy again in a different color.
