I had an ankle arthroscopy a couple months ago and have still been dealing with swelling. This pillow is so comfortable for elevating my legs. Inflation was super easy and took a few minutes. The material is similar to an inflatable bed and really sturdy and it holds air well.

I already have a BLABOK wedge pillow, so getting this leg pillow is like to make them a pair :)I use the wedge pillow when I want to lean against the headboard because a wedge pillow provides firmer and broader support than a regular pillow.As for this leg pillow, I use it to elevate my legs and so relieve the lower back pressure when I want to comfortably lie down and rest.I like the design that you use the air bag, instead of your mouth, to inflate the pillow. Since I already have a BLABOK wedge pillow, I already know how to do it: simply open the air bag wide, close it and squeeze the air into the pillow, repeat several times and you will have the pillow fully inflated.

Update - didn't even last 2 months! What a disappointment. Apparently the inflation valve is faulty and there's a leak in the plug. Immersing in water shows bubbles when sealed. Too late to return but seller/merchant should address these flaws.__________________________Support! That's what this does really well. It's made from thick flocked PVC and the seams appear sturdy with my use. I only inflated it to about 80-85% of capacity so there's a bit of softness and 'give' when pressure is applied. If my cats get to it and decide to exercise their claws, a vinyl patch kit will be an easy fix (throwing a blanket over it might prevent that). So far I've found good use and support for: (1) lying down on back with legs raised on the wedge (2) lying on side with head supported by slanted wedge (3) sitting up in bed with wedge vertical at back (4) wedge on lap while sitting with slant upwards, and used as platform for eReader or tablet. The support wedge comes with an inflation bag if you don't want to blow it up by mouth or inflation device. You fill the PVC bag with air and then roll it to release into the 'fill nozzle' of the support wedge. However, I inflated it by mouth - took 12-15 deep breaths. The nozzle orifice has a large opening for releasing/emptying the air, and a smaller one-way air plug that inserts allowing inflation without losing the air after each breath/inflation pump. When filled, a final smaller plug seals that. Then the entire nozzle can be pressed into support wedge so it doesn't stick out. **For anyone with lower back problems or pain, relieving pressure from the spine by raising your legs while lying down using the slanted wedge provides excellent relief. My chiropractor has a similar wedge in their office just for this purpose. Priced reasonably and made well, I would definitely purchase this again.

This is perfect for those that need to elevate their feet without using pillows or cushions that always end up falling apart through the night. I only need it once in awhile after intense runs and then I can easily put it away for easy storage until next time I need it. Works great so far.

My husband did surgery so he is currently using this as a foot rest to reduce swelling, however this can also be used as a pillow for neck/spine support or back support for this who like to sit up and read in bed. The good thing about this product is that you can control the firmness as opposed to conventional pillows
