Quicker than waiting for a car service!
I borrowed a friend’s Halo device to jumpstart my mom’s car battery. It was quick and easy, lightweight and portable. It holds its charge for months too! I couldn’t wait to order one of my own for the next time Mom leaves her car dome light on. I had her car started again faster than the time it takes to make a phone call for a car service!I also love that you can use it to plug in and recharge electronic devices, fill a tire with air, and it even has a built-in light with flashing hazard light capability.I love this gadget so much that I got one for my niece who does a lot of camping. She’ll be able to use the usb ports to charge her phone and other devices. As my husband says “Good tools don’t cost, they pay!”

Pricier than other models, but worth it!
This little thing is great. It's very easy to use, and works very well. I was able to successfully jump start my car three times in the same day, and each use only drained the battery by about 6%. I love how the unit makes it clear how much charge is left. It's amazing how much power can fit in this compact device. I have not tried the air compressor, but I did make use of the flood light and USB charging ports during a recent power outage. I also love that a standard electrical outlet is available (note the 75W output limit though). I'm thinking about buying more of these as gifts for friends and family. This really is one of those things that every driver should keep in their car.

Like it so much I bought THREE of them.
I own one of these that I purchased last year. I LOVE it! Now I have purchased two more just like it for my grandsons. Works great. It will jumpstart your car, put air in tires, charge devices, and has emergency flasher light as well as a floodlight. It has a drawstring bag to keep it all in; I'd like to have a hard protective case, but I have not found one suitable yet. Nevertheless, I really do like this item. It holds its charge a long time. I also can charge it in the car with a separately purchased car charger that I already owned for my Android phone.

Holds a charge, error proof use, works everytime.
I have been toting one of these around in my Subaru for 3 Years. Just picked up another for my Sister, this thing is so easy she will be able to jump her own car.(Fingers Crossed) I really don't know why I still have Autoclub coverage. It's so easy, I have jumped a few folks in need. Now my Sister has one in her Subaru, I feel better.

Emergency saver.
So far so good!!! I'm a woman of age and I check my tires by myself and I love this item. It has the tire inflator, battery charger, phone charger, light and more. I like practical items that can help in case of an emergency and this does the job. My son has helped many people on the road and I decided to get one for me. This is fantastic!!

Really good versatility, but could be better.
After my previous Halo was lost, I decided to replace it with this beast. It is about 30% larger than the 58830, but you actually get a little less juice since they packed in some other features. With that said, there is still lots of excellent functionality that goes into this model, but it does not necessarily do any of those functions particularly great. I haven't needed to use the jump start feature yet, so I can't really comment on that, but the included cables are very short and the clamps are super lightweight almost cheap feeling plastic. So far I have used it to inflate tires, charge phones, and run a small radio. Inflating tires works well, but at a huge drain to the battery. Roughly 3-5% battery life per 5PSI inflated. The built in light works really well, and even offers a red option to stand out. If you are trying to use it for larger load electronics, like a vacuum or a large fan, this is not the solution for you. It will power a laptop charger, but you can watch how quickly the battery drains on the LED display. It is great to keep in your trunk or under a seat for emergency situations, but it does not really have the ruggedness that you would expect in a roadside use tool. The thin plastic housing seems like it would not hold up well to an accidental drop, and . Most of the videos and comments that I've seen on this show people using it inside their vehicle to keep phones and iPads charged for long trips. So it really just feels like this is a glorified power bank that can inflate tires and jump start vehicles. For the money I spent, I don't feel completely cheated, but if I had to do it all over again I would probably spend my money on the 58830 and invest in a separate tire inflator.
