This was a fun surprise to pull out on a road trip once it got dark. Kept it in the backseat and it didn’t disturb the driver too bad :) This is good for novelty and enough light to fill up a room if used in a house of small to medium size room. It says it has a mode that matches the rhythm of music but I haven’t been successful yet in getting that function to actually work in that way. For what it is, a nice little pick me up at just the right time!

I did not notice it reacting to music as mentioned in the description, but maybe it does and it’s too subtle for me. It has a little button to push on the back side of the light to cycle thru the different light patterns. It doesn’t illuminate a huge space but does a decent job for a the interior car ceiling. I personally felt like emergency vehicles were behind me so I wouldn’t want to utilize in my car but I could see it being a fun addition to for hire vehicles entertaining customers for events or nightlife. You can of course utilize it in any USB outlet to put a little disco into a room. For the cost you shouldn’t be disappointed!
