Great Backpack, Could Definitely Improve. Highly Recommended!
I thought the backpack looked great in the description and the photos of other reviewers, but having it in person is much better than expected. Some people will say that the inner material feels "cheap" and I will disagree to that. It reminds me of the inside of some wallets that do not use leather or fabric. If anything, it feels almost comparable to silk but less irritating on the skin. That's just a personal opinion. The one that I will say that could use a lot of work, is the design of the usb charging feature. Cord feels very cheap and I would advise caution to using it at all. What I did was make the slot a little bit more open, then just wire through my own charging cable. For what it is, it definitely is not bad at all.Overall, I would recommend this backpack to others that are looking for something to travel light with. Will definitely be using on future trips.

Best city/ light travel backpack ever
I bought this backpack for the first time back in early 2018 but unfortunately had it stolen back in December(obviously not a fault of the bag itself). I have since tried a few other backpacks on Amazon and none of them compare to how perfect this one is for me. I have just recieved my second one to prepare for my overseas trip and I'm in love all over again. When it says water resistant you better believe it. When you zip up the first layer and clip the flap securely down with the hook everything inside will be bone dry even in heavier rain. Using the hook the main compartment is also relatively safe from theft and pickpockets. Only improvement I would like is if the smaller sections (especially the zipper pouch on the top flap which is perfect for passport and cash storage) had the same protection. The two biggest complaints I see that I will address are the material being thin and cheap. And yes the material isn't the thickest but because of this the backpack is very comfortable and lightweight. If you are looking for a bag to take to work and back / travel and city use it is perfect. In my roughly one year of daily use there was no damage or defects at all. I used the backpack to travel across the Japanese countryside and many flights and it carries much more than the standard laptop bag.The only negative I can see (which doesn't effect me as I didn't use it anyway) is the USB port being a little finicky the one time I tried it. Luckily it's just a standard male to female USB cable so you can easily buy a replacement and swap in your own USB cable port. Other than that minor issue this is easily the best sub 50 dollar backpack you can get on Amazon.

Light and seems OK
I ordered this bag based on the reviews of others. First off, the material is accurate as described. The compartments (both side pockets and inside) are rather small. I wish the inside pockets were elastic as they sag when heavier items such as battery charger was put in it. The laptop compartment is good for 14 inch and will not hold anything larger. The zippers are not heavy duty and I have a feeling that they won't last (but I hope they do). The shoulder straps are not as padded compare to regular backpacks. This is first impression and will provide an update after I get to use the bag. Stay tuned.

Light and thin.
I was expecting something a little bit bigger. The material inside feels really thin to where the stitching can be torn off if you tried. The style is great for what it is, but I dont know if even that will be enough for me to keep it. I was hoping for a thicker material and padding for a more satisfying feel to it. I have to say it feels a little cheap, but I will give it try nonetheless before returning it. Who knows, maybe it will grow on me.

Nice backpack, awkwardly small pockets.
This backpack works great, I got it for vacations and what not so the added layers of closure are a great touch. Plus it looks great! Thing to note is that all the side pockets are all fairly undersized. They appear to be larger/deeper than they actually are.

5 years later...
I used this for all of high school and it is still in great condition. There are some light rips from the inside lining, but the overall bag is sturdy and sound and has many, many more years to go. I’m impressed.

I don’t feel like I am bothering people around me
Very light backpack. I put the same stuff in this bag as I did in my previous bag. I was always wondering why it felt so heavy. Now I know. It’s got all I need, all the pockets and compartments for my gear (phones, cables, laptop and iPad Pro, battery packs, etc..) and is waterproof. I don’t mind keeping it on my shoulders when I am on the L. I don’t feel like I am bothering people around me. And I don’t feel like a schoolboy with this on my back.

This backpack is excellent! It deceptively holds a lot of stuff without looking bulky. I have a 13-inch mac book which fits in the sleeve easily. I will note that my spouse has a 17inch laptop and it fits in the bag but not in the sleeve.
