Russian Sherlock Holmes
I bought this book totally accidentally not knowing what is about except it is a mystery book. And I got hooked after a few first pages. The way this book is written, the style which brings you back to Imperial Russia (as you've been there and now you are remembering how it was), the main character - everything was perfect for me, a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes.Fandorin is not exactly the Russian version of Sherlock Holmes, on the contrary, he has his own charm and he is not born for "the job" as Holmes dis. Fandorin is a self-made man, he trains himself to be as better as he could for the job he chooses.The story in this book is intriguing, unbelievable, and yet totally possible and I really enjoy reading it.
