I've tried different pork skins and they were terrible or had a lot of fat on them. Howards pork skins are very good and does not have the fat. They are hard and have a unique taste to them. I love the crunch.

So I get these because they are the closest thing to a brand that is not in circulation anymore but these skins are thin and thick, very tough to chew and all the things I love about a pork skin.

First off, I don’t enjoy writing a less than stellar review; however, I REALLY like pork skins and excited to try these. Even though they were expensive, if they would have been good, it would have been worth it. While the packaging was fine, the minute you open the bag you get a lye-like smell. Unfortunately, when you bit in to the pork skin you still get a very bland to near foul taste. I’m so sad to say, threw out my entire order (since it’s not returnable). In the world of pork skins, it’s entirely possible to make absolutely wonderful pork skins, and I hate to say, but must warn anyone who is a lover of good flavorful pork skins that these are not those. Wish I could have been more positive, trust me.

So delicious and hard to stop eating once you open the bag.

They were crunchy but didn't have much pork flavor. The red pepper, that is not listed on the front, is just spicy but not flavorful.
