Hidden in Plain Sight (William Warwick Novels, 2) Paperback – September 14, 2021

Enjoyed being along for the ride with the same characters from the first book, with a couple of new additions. Although the plot wears slightly predictable there were a couple of unexpected turns which made for a pleasurable read.

A quick read. Look forward to the 3rd in this series to complete Then follow up with more from Jeffrey archer.

I liked the first in this series so much that I jumped to get this second one. And maybe it's just me, but there were so many plots and characters that I started to get a bit bothered & bored keeping up with them all. Then the end left so many things (still) hanging that rather than feeling the need to go on to the third book, I, instead, feel the need to drop out.

Never a dull moment for the Warwicks. So many questions! Will they ever catch miles? Will william really go to law school? Can’t wait to read the next book.

Jeffery Archer is an excellent writer. The finish of this story will be out in April. I like the William Warwick series as it is an easy read and entertaining. The book is still tracking art thief Faulkner and introduced a new character, Rashidi, a drug dealer. While Faulkner managed to escape the police at his mother’s funeral, Rashidi is still in jail. Faulkner managed to burn down a house he owned after stealing the valuable paintings inside so that his estranged wife was unable to profit from any of it. I am waiting for the next installment to see if William Warwick remains with the police or decides on a different path!

Delightful continuation of the adventures of William Warwick, special agent at Scotland Yard. Only two of the series in print presently. Love the character along with this girlfriend and father, a QC at the Bar and sister, also a barrister.

Recommend reading the 1st volume of the "Detective William Warwick" series entitled "Nothing Ventured," as this novel is its continuing sequel. The 1st volume sets the foundation of each character, the nuances of relationships, and, intrinsic motivations causing behavioral actions. This second volume subsequently expands upon the intriguing plots introduced by "Nothing Ventured." An enjoyable suspense.

This is the second novel in the William Warwick series. The pace is fast as they work as s team to crack down on drugs. Exciting to read all the way through.Noe onto book three.

The second story of this Metropolitan Police Officer and his day to day actions in dealing with offenders across London. A very good continuing story and I am looking forward to the next story.

Also, besides Warwick, the author has dedicated much of the novel to a number of important other characters such as his family, his confreres and his enemies. The author weaves his plot from a number of varied viewpoints, resulting in a vibrant and diverse narrative that delves into the lives of many interesting characters and some fantastic villains. The exploration of these different characteristics has contributed to the beautiful rhythm of the novel. The novel ends on a cliff-hanger leaving the readers wanting for more. All in all, Hidden in Plain sight is a fascinating and ingenious book that is recommended to all those who enjoy good old historical crime fiction drama and for everyone else too.
