Good quality, thickness and grip

It is very comfy with being a thicker mat than most. Very happy with it.

The Adeptna extra thick non-slip exercise yoga mat arrived boxed in a roll and wrapped in cellophane and includes an elasticated strap for holding it in a roll and carrying it.I got it for my wife to take to sessions at her gym, and she has found that it performs exactly as described - it is non-slip, quite thick and comfortable to use. Overall it is a good quality, good value, mat.

The media could not be loaded. This may is definitely thick - see photo for comparison with our standard yoga mats.It is designed so that it makes a cushioning effect on knees when doing yoga. It definitely cushions although it is a bit too soft (not firm enough).It has a lot of give, it is very elastic so as you lean and press on it it slides slightly, has a fair amount of movement. This is separately from the sliding on the floor due to grip.The grip is not that good, I read the description as the trademark shield is on the ridge side, which in the photos is shown as the right way up. However the other side is smooth and slides on the floor. I tried both sides (see video) but there's still not enough grip on the ridge side.The foam is so soft that it gets easily marked so I'm not sure about durability. But it is certainly comfortable on the parts that normally get more strain during yoga sessions.I will use it but on my normal mat, during specific posture training. I would not use it by itself.

I had long given up performing the 'cat' due to an injury to my knee. Had my old yoga mat for years and did not realise there were thicker versions available. In fact, I recently bought a thicker yoga mat - no complaints, but when this came up on Vine, I had to have it and, boy, what a difference it makes. Fantastic, great size but, the joy of being able to kneel without pain. This mat really is 1 cm thick and fantastic.There is not much more to say really, except that, as one gets older, we do get aches and pains and performing yoga or pilates exercises is a fine way to stay flexible but getting down to the floor and manoeuvring one's creaky bones is hard enough but with a mat like this one at a brilliant price - well, exercise becomes a pleasure instead of a chore. Also, if you are taking your mat off to a class, this comes with a handy strap enabling the mat to be rolled up and easily transported. Love it - get one.

Really great yoga mat, I love the bright colour it gives a bit of life. The foam is nice and thick which makes it a bit wider than other mats when rolled up, but not a huge amount. It's really comfortable to use, feels very padded and protected from the floor. Good quality also, I think it will last well.

I like this yoga mat- I got the blue one. It is quite thick so good if you are using on a hard floor underneath. It's also longer than others I have used- I'm quite short so it's not really a problem but this would be good for taller people. Because it's thick and long, it does make it a bit bulkier for storage when rolling it up. The strap/handle is made from elastic so when you roll up the mat, it's easy to stretch it over the ends and then hold it in place. It would have been nicer if that elastic was slightly stronger as I think it may become loose over time with use. It might not be an issue if you leave the mat on the floor most of the time though. It doesn't come with a bag, which I would have preferred. Not a big issue but it might get a bit dirty/dusty otherwise (probably a sign I should use it more!). The mat is nice and spongy without squashing too much with pressure.

Good, basic yogo mat. Just the right thickness and easy to transport. Carry handle is a beauty too.
