I had a lot of trouble ordering this shoe rack and the seller patiently helped me out and made sure I got my parcel in the end.The shoe rack was smaller and more lightly constructed than I expected, but once it is all put together it holds up quite well. Being light is an advantage as it can easily be moved. It is a bit of a squeeze getting taller ankle boots in there, but I did manage to get all my shoes/boots/slippers to fit. I'm a size 6.5 UK but a lot of the time I end up buying bigger sizes as I have wide feet etc. I have also had badly swollen feet, so the slippers at the bottom are the largest size available (women's).Putting it together was an intelligence test, and if you are quite frail you may want a stronger person to do it for you. I thought at first the pieces didn't fit, however soon worked out a method that made it fast and easy. Just be careful ... I was on the very LAST PIECE and I pushed down hard on the shoe rack without the legs in the bottom shelf, and bent one and cracked the wood of a shelf! My fault entirely, it was predictable and I don't know what on earth I was thinking. It's all ok though, I continued and you can't tell now and it doesn't seem to have affected the structure in any significant way.My method: when you are putting the "legs" into the "slots" in the previous layer, TURN THE UNIT UPSIDE DOWN. Then you can PUSH the leg DOWN into its slot quite easily, with a firm grip. To get the "shelves" onto the "legs" TURN THE UNIT BACK THE RIGHT WAY UP AND PUSH THE LEGS DOWN INTO THE HOLES IN THE NEXT SHELF. In other words, you are always pushing DOWN into a hole/slot with one of the legs. To get the final few millimetres in, WIGGLE or ROCK the leg backwards and forwards (along the length of the slot, not side to side!). You'll find if you do these 2 things - pushing down and wiggling - the unit comes together really fast and quite easily.In fact it's because I was thinking how easy it all was I stopped paying attention and nearly broke it! Whoops!Anyway, this looks quite nice and fits in the space that I wanted it for and I intend to order at least one more so that I have space for guests' shoes and maybe a couple of small potted plants. I don't think it would hold anything terribly heavy but small/medium sized things should be fine.Very pleased with this shoe rack, and it's a good price and much nicer looking than a lot of more expensive ones.

Decent quality for the price, fits nicely in a corner. The wooden legs are a bit annoying to get in place but I used a rubber hammer which helped.Fits my size 8’s on nicely I would say if you have any boots or high top shoes then to avoid getting this as the squares are not higher enough. Other than that really good.

The bamboo shelves are lovely but have not made it up yet. Looking at the picture when I ordered they look bigger and more space on shelf. When I unpacked the shelves are smaller than picture. I ordered from Amazon but if you want to return it is to China at smallest cost of £8.05

You will need wood glue otherwise the unit will be a little flimsy but once used the unit is very rigid and solid if still a little on the light side

Easy to assemble,strong and a nice attractive addition to my hall.

Uprights are poorly machined and do not fit together. Only suitable for children’s shoes. Have fed back to Amazon and received a full refund.Wouldn’t give it any stars, but you have to leave at least one.Customer service was excellent.
