Appears to be excellent quality on first impressions
Have just purchased this product and applied to a brand-new HTC U11 just out the box, so should be the very best conditions to try it under. If the packaging is any indication of the actual product quality it should be excellent; it certainly speaks to a passion and attention to detail, both the outer carton (which is very strong card with padded foam sides, to prevent damage to the contents in transit) and what’s inside are gorgeously presented. You get three each of the actual screen covers, alcohol wipes, lint cloths, and a set of stickers to guide placement.Inside there are the main instructions and also some ‘auxiliary parts of installations’ instructions, the latter are close to unintelligible and obviously badly translated, but actually not needed. After a trial placement with the backing film still covering the adhesive I didn’t even bother with the stickers to aid placement; just carefully put it in place and got it pretty much spot on.I chose to align the product by keeping an eye on the mic and camera cut-outs at the top and home button one at the bottom, to ensure these aligned perfectly. As a result the little windows for the other two buttons at the bottom (back button and whatever the button on the right is, which I don’t think I ever use?) which light up are a little out of alignment, and I’ve also lost a fraction of a millimetre of the notification bar at the top. No big deal but next time I’ll aim very slightly higher. In terms of screen clarity and brightness you would never know there was a screen protector in place; these glass products are a million miles away from the flexible plastic, impossible-to-fit-without-ending-up-with-bubbles (and the odd stray hair!!) ones of the past. The only problem I’ve had so far is a little difficulty with the virtual keyboard recognising key presses in the bottom right hand corner, which annoyingly is where the backspace is (which I use a lot as my typing is not the best on these tiny keyboards) – I’m pressing a little harder but it will be interesting to see if this beds down as the product gets used. One or two others have commented I think about these screen protectors not coping with the rounded corners of the front face of the phone, but it is what it is, not sure what you could do about that. It looks absolutely fine in place. I’ve resisted using screen protectors for years as I could never stand trapped bubbles or edges peeling away, but am fed up of my phone screen developing scratches despite me being ultra-careful, as well as with time the glass wearing and dulling along the bottom due to fingers rubbing where the virtual keyboard pops up. I thought smartphone screen glass was meant to be ultra-tough nowadays, but clearly not. With a product like this, being able to ‘renew’ the glass whenever it gets scratched or worn is going to be a real bonus. Only time will tell how quickly the product wears and how often I need to do that, but at £3 a pop I feel it’s a small price to pay to keep things looking pristine for what after all is a pretty expensive possession.

Not so good second time around
I bought these before and would give 7 out of 10, however this time I clean my screen thoroughly and put screen protect on as before. A found it left an airgap on half the screen and made it difficult to use one app which I had to move. The biggest pain is the protector has cracked after just two weeks without any impact to the screen. So far not impressed and only 4 out of 10 for this first of three screen protectors.

Great screen protector, but a bit fiddly to install.
I like the fact that this screen protector almost fully covers the screen whilst using the mobile phone cover. However that does make it more fiddly to install and I had to readjust it's position 3 times, as when the edge of the screen touches the edge of the mobile phone cover, the touch screen function is impaired on that side, but once in the correct position it works very well.

Just the job
Adhesion seems fine but time will tell. Slight friction on touch gestures etc but the pack is cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for. That's why I've reviewed this overall as 4 stars.
