Works somewhat good!

I have frequent neck aches and shoulder aches due to VERY tense upper trapezius muscles. I get botox every 3 months to reduce migraine occurrences, but when I wear a backpack or purse for too long, it aggravates those muscle groups and they flare up and become like rocks. I have tried icy hot, bengay, lidocaine, acupressure, acupuncture, and Gua Sha (a type of intense Chinese massage); however, nothing has worked except the latter, on occasion. I decided to try Biofreeze because the others weren't getting the job done and left my skin with all sorts of redness, irritation, and breakouts. I have used Biofreeze twice thus far and both times I have placed it over my entire neck, shoulders, and back (upper and lower). I have not had any redness or irritation reaction to this product. I also notice that it causes a deep tingling sensation, similar to bengay, but lasts longer and is more penetrating than other products. The menthol is very soothing and has thwarted a migraine both times I have used it. My muscles have become more pliant upon use and less like rocks, which is awesome. My only complaint is the very strong smell can be a bother to me since strong smells can trigger a migraine, which is less than ideal. However, I do like the fact that the product is roll-on and I don't have to touch the ingredients when using the product and the roll-on device allows me to reach hard-to-reach places like my upper and lower back.UPDATED: Put it on a couple of days ago to track how long it lasted- it was about 8 hrs. Very impressive.
